  1. I'm sure I seen a documentary video about Barrow? I think it was them anyway. They don't train there and train miles away like 100+ miles away and the only time the players etc are ever in Barrow is match day because they don't have any facilities The fans did seem a passionate bunch though. No doubt I'll find the video again and it won't be Barrow it's about
  2. https://fminside.net/players/2-fm-22/28121364-sam-mcclelland For reference
  3. Did notice it didn't look great as well. Hopefully recovers though
  4. I hope one of his mates goes round and slaps him in the puss and tells him to stop behaving like a fucking moron. His behavior is beyond pathetic.. He's needing medical help, genuinely. What makes it worse is he thinks he's proving some kind of point. The only point he's proven is he's an idiot, no one agrees with his over the top look at me look at me attention seeking behaviour.
  5. he's still going. Is that a grown adult? Bairn toys out the pram behavior. Everyone was disappointed by what does this kind of nonsense achieve other than making a complete fool of himself?!
  6. He was also encouraging someone to block him. Excellent idea tbh.
  7. Aye he's basically said what he's said to the fans behind closed doors to Sky but with less detail. I honestly don't mind nor care about him saying he wants more players. It also deflects conversation away from the poor results! Also if there's an agent watching who has a player willing to come here then they know what the manager is looking for. The Ayr game made it quite clear to me why he wanted to retain Hallberg as well. Hallberg while no means perfect is good at the kind of runs into channels ahead of the central striker(s) that we were clearly looking for. I still think the first 15 mins or so were positive. There's obviously glaring issues defensively, especially if we're going to face someone who'll run in behind. If we can play with the confidence next week that we did in the opening period on Tuesday we're in with a shout. Get in Hearts faces and see how they handle it. Fans will be right on their case if they don't start well. Conviction in front of goal required as well though!
  8. Just reading some other Saints fans comments. It's funny how people think. " They just need to Replace XXXXX with a better player" kind of statements made all over the place like it's as simple and easy as that. Like you just go out one day and pluck a player from the transfer center like football manager who has better stats where you filter out all players who are not interested in signing All football clubs are permanently trying to find players that'll improve their squad but it's clearly a challenge to get players who are better (in the managers opinion) and actually willing to come to the club within the budget set out.
  9. The phone based season tickets seemed to go without a hitch last night though He was rubbish in his second spell at Saints. Wasn't that great in the first either. Too much sulking was going on as well.
  10. The absolute state this guys getting himself into all day. If it's you, chill the f**k out. Just shows what football means to people though!
  11. The drawback I'm seeing now of us playing the front two is the space it leaves in midfield. Could McGowan and Phillips both play in there together? I have my doubts unless it's a midfield 3. If they do it means we've then not really got anyone as a goal threat arriving from midfield. Although you could potentially push the full backs higher if you've got two semi sitting in front of the central defenders but that could lead to Considine & Gordon getting dragged into and isolated in wide areas.
  12. Connor McLennan landing on his feet at Salford is absolutely wild. I was absolutely convinced part time was his level.
  13. The issue has been basics and certainly was last night. It's less about questioning the managers credentials or getting a new director of football. Wright towards the end of his time lost to the likes Forfar & Brechin in the League Cup as well. Not taking chances while you're COMPLETELY dominating the game. Allowing free headers and for some unknown reason just not bothering to close down the shot for the second goal at all. There might also have been some shitebaggy turning their back on the shot as well but would need to see it again. These are the real issues. May missed a great chance at 0-0 against Stenny as well. If those chances go in as they bloody well should have you don't lose either of those games. I said it earlier regarding May. He can do all the hard work he likes outside the box but when the chance comes to score when it really matters in tight games, he won't take them and it's going to cost us. His effort last night sums up his finishing, another scuffed feeble effort on goal. There's also continued questions about the bottle of many of those players. Got back into the game but then just collapsed again. Pathetic really.
  14. I think I lost it when the keeper passed the ball to him and he just stood and left it for an imaginary teammate. Wtf is with this wrestling every time he goes into the attacking box as well. Pointless him going forward. Never gets in the end of anything and gives away a guaranteed foul. The one in the first half, the defender struggling facing his own goal, Gordon gives him a gift my grabbing him with both arms.
  15. Max played alright tonight. I think we're learning he's not quite the messiah world beater like many seemed to think after his Rangers performance last season. That game should have been over after 20 mins. Too much focus around May and his work outside the box. All completely undone if he's not going to score chances like the one in the first half tonight. Ballantyne disappeared in the second half. As did May. Did we manage a shot on target in the second half?
  16. Saints players surrounding the ref at full time as well. Referee was shite but not to blame for the result. The second half was quite poor. As for the second goal?! Does no one fancy closing it down?
  17. I thought we played well. The off the ball movement was causing Ayr problems. Finishing was very poor. May failing to kick the ball properly.
  18. That's what happens when you miss multiple very good chances.
  19. Personally mine is fine but someone I know was missing the QR code etc from the app. They had to phone the club last week who did something on their account and it resolved it. (They or supplier could probably do a bit of data fixing behind the scenes to stop folk having to phone though) Bev was tweeting about it too
