  1. Was that only 2016?!! If someone asked me to guess I would have said 2013 at the earliest!
  2. He's being linked with the likes of Bradford. I can see him ending up somewhere like that over coming up here. We'll see though. Saints may move on if someone else becomes available. The fact that one fell through and "hasn't moved elsewhere". Probably him.
  3. Hearts likely to sell out their complete allocation. Hopefully plenty of our fans show up in good numbers as well!
  4. We're very unlikely to sign 5-6 players. Most of the young players including Max are very unlikely to be going anywhere. Maybe those on the periphery will but the likes of him and Ferguson are likely to be involved regularly. The manager has made it fairly clear they're going to be involved this season. We're not going down the Davidson route of having a bench full of senior players. At a push we'll maybe get 3. Central defender, winger and right back. Chance they'll all be loans as well!
  5. I was opposite end but looked handball. I wouldn't say my opinion is worth much though Thought it was a stonewall on May as well when the goalkeeper was disposed as well.
  6. I thought Stevens looked very fit and confident. He was very keen to take the man on at every opportunity.
  7. There's SOMETIMES admin fees for European games etc. I presumed at the time that was applied by the ticket system supplier as a way of getting £ for the implementation of the season ticket holders can buy up to 10 tickets for friends (to stop Turkish fans buying them). I imagine that was a specific request from Saints outside the current contract they have with the company. The club has moved to the next phase of it as well by moving to digital season tickets as well. The price is why Hibs chose Saints for their ticket incentive tests. Football for a fiver etc. We get occasional moans from those without kids but... Hope the family have a good day out.
  8. Today will go a long way in understanding the character of some of these players. The younger lads, Gallagher etc. Will they show a reaction after last week or will they struggle? Time will tell.
  9. According to the Manager in the Courier. The other signing had agreed terms but it fell through. The player whoever it is hasn't gone anywhere else either. Suggestions it could be revived later. If the reason it fell through was because they didn't want to sign for Saints then I reckon they should think very carefully about signing them after all. If the heart isn't in it...
  10. Where are the Saints fans planning on scooping the pre match pints tomorrow?
  11. Plymouth fans seem to just be wishing him all the best. They're not anything like the Cambridge levels of delusion.
  12. I'd hope it's money or being busy etc. Surely folk aren't in the huff already because of one poor performance and result. There's no guarantee it'll improve of course but surely not worth getting overly worked up about quite yet.
  13. Not sure really. Maybe just needs to mutually agreed between both clubs. Although last year I'm sure everyone was £15? Maybe a coincidence everyone agreed the same price I'd imagine so, 800ish I imagine at Alloa. Some will dodge after last Saturday's let down.
  14. £12 for a ticket to McDiarmid for both St Johnstone's two home games with Ayr & Stirling. Will be about 6 Saints fans there if we don't beat Alloa on Saturday though.
  15. Saints ticket prices for the League cup games are surprisingly good. £12 for an East Stand adult!
  16. Courier confirming the issue is indeed international clearance through FIFA. Can't imagine they'll be in a rush moving the likes of Saints to the top of the list. Loans seems the topic of conversation after that.
  17. These two points do tie in well with what the manager has been saying. There isn't much point signing another Brown or Crawford type player. They might be a slight upgrade on the starting option at the moment but blocks the opportunities for the likes of McCrystal. If those young lads are looking almost as good as the squad filler player, just throw them in. If you're good enough, you're old enough. Like Radford said, there will be good players who've not been interested in us previously due to hoping for a better offer potentially closer to home for example starting to think about that 6% mortgage and needing to find a club so wages start coming in. There's also those who find after pre season they're going to be out of favour and be available for loan. Like Swanson at Coventry. Had started to reply but RandomGuy beat me to it. If he's been at training etc I'd imagine we're confident it's going to happen. Don't know much about the paperwork process or how it works but if there's been an error on the Plymouth side when he left or even at the FA side or our side then that could cause a delay like this. Just speculating though. If he has been training though and the paperwork comes through tomorrow at least he'll potentially be able to be involved on Saturday!
  18. I think it's just another paranoid Killie fan greeting about the decisions they didn't get against Saints. That lot scream HANDBALL!!!!! in their sleep.
  19. @7-2 @FrankChickens1 Lads, if it's one of you. Calm down. It's better for your health!
  20. Now that you mention it. I think you're right. It was yellow there?
  21. Can they use it with the old sponsor on it? Unless they have ones without the logos applied still available... Although GS Brown aren't going to moan about it for the one off.
