  1. How's everyone heading to Dingwall at the weekend? Distinct lack of viable transport options. The one supporters bus is full. Train home doesn't get back to Perth until an obscene time as the first train leaving Dingwall after the game leaves at 10 to 8. It's also £42 return. Driving obviously...
  2. Seen some match stats on twitter which I can't find now that our pass completion last week was something like 49%?! Surely not?
  3. Made me chuckle a bit. They referred to Rangers first goal as "Normal service has resumed" when describing Rangers getting a penalty.
  4. It cracks me up. It's the fitness experts that make me laugh. 5 stone over weight guys with their great ideas to solve the injuries. Comments of "they're training too hard" "the fitness coach clearly doesn't have a clue what he's doing" "the fitness coach should be sacked" etc. They're very keen on the suggestions without the first clue what level or training they're doing or even the a basic idea about the fitness required at that kind of level. A few of them were passing comment on "there's not much hope if that's how tired Gallagher is already" while evidently not having the first clue what a bleep test is and that he was the last player left. Football is about opinions but on subjects like fitness, it's somewhat more complex for obvious reasons than "just train less" and you'll get less injuries.
  5. There's quite a few fans already over the hill and into full blown meltdown panic mode already. I read wap the other day. Talks of the manager should look to get rid of Gallagher, Carey, Mcgowan, Max and basically anyone else who was here last season and start again. like that's a actually a viable suggestion . Few saying he should be sacked etc already online as well.

  7. The what id call poor editing of the BBC highlights has been something I've moaned about quite a lot. Completely missing a goal is next level useless though. I obviously notice it most often in St Johnstone games as I was there to witness it live usually and often watch the highlights specifically for "I really want to see that penalty shout again" etc to find its completely omitted from the highlights but a nothing shot from 25 yards that goes 7-8 yards wide is included. I appreciate they need to keep the highlights to a certain length especially if it's a shite game but it shows IMO those editing them don't know football that well if those are the kind of editing decisions made.
  8. While I'm not writing games off, I'm in agreement about the under pressure aspect. Even without anymore signings this week the players can win games. Randomguy knows this already I'm sure as we discussed it in the Saints thread. Fans of other clubs think he's close to the sack etc. The reality is, they're utterly wrong. He isn't. At all. It's not the County fans fault for the £28 ticket price so not going to moan at them. It's ridiculous though. I do wonder if that shoe was on the other foot would we see our fans applying pressure to the club. £25 is already a lot.
  9. What's the crack with him on loan at Chelmsford? Not involved at all then recalled eventually...
  10. Has there been confirmation about how we should purchase tickets for County? Conscious if they need bloody posted then they'd need to be purchased asap.
  11. I find it quite amusing fans of other clubs going on about Macca being a dead cert to be sacked first. They evidently don't know much about Saints as a club. Can't see him being the first one sacked.
  12. It's not in the Sportscene highlights but live I thought the one on Max was a penalty. He tried to not go down though. Live anyway it looked like he was tripped.
  13. Not watched the game back but overriding feeling during and after was there was plenty effort, commitment etc. Felt like we didn't show enough in possession though. Didn't manage to complete many passes that really troubled Hearts. In our better performances last season we were able to find May in the wider channel peeling off the central defender to move the team up the park and couldn't seem to find him. Gordon's chance the big moment. He timed his run well, delivery was a belter. It wasn't an easy chance though. It's at least made me feel a bit more positive about next Saturday.
  14. You can't judge a season based on one game. The debutant's at the back did reasonably well. The first goal which of course I've only seen live, frustrates me so so much. some sprinted out, some didn't and it resulted in the second goal becoming a clear chance on goal. Decent finish though. Second goal... Games over. The question marks will be about how we'll score against Premiership sides. Didn't look creative enough. Few half chances from set pieces aside.
  15. Hearts miles better in the second half. So far. Nothing from Saints. Zero. The goal very poor from Saints perspective but heyho. I'd be losing the fucking plot if I was Macca.
  16. All that hard work to lose a goal like that. Ffs!!!!!! A few slow coming out resulted in being outnumbered for the second ball when it dropped.
  17. I thought they said the other way round. Only 900 go to old firm games!
  18. Weirdly I just went into thr St Johnstone thread as I'd just been told Saints were at 2600 and seen this topic.
  19. Was just hearing we've sold around 2600 season tickets. Seems middle of the road?
  20. Dare at right back maybe. Brown unfit too. Will depend how much he wants McGowan in midfield.
