  1. I've heard rumours about him not integrating with the squad very well. No idea if these are true, whatsoever but the way I was told them made it sound like he kept himself quite distant from the other players and sounded like to be honest he was struggling a bit. As I say though, not a clue if true. It certainly looks like poor business but ah well, they'll recoup their losses this weekend anyway
  2. Just before I read your post I was thinking to myself. "I've felt flat the last few days... ". I think it's probably because of this weekend and having nothing to look forward to. Instead I'll be doing house chores (things I probably should have done weeks ago ) we're heading away up north for the day if it's not crap weather - I'll have a fine time I have no doubt BUT I'm not looking forward to that like I would for a Saturday at the football. When the draw was made, wasn't happy about Rangers, meh but when the kick off was moved and not to Sunday lunchtime I though, we could have a day out a bit different from usual etc. The Muirton Suite probably would have got a good few quid out of me. I guess this is a long way of saying the whole nonsense has made me feel similar to what you've described! I've just admitted I've got no outside football haven't I?! It's definitely fucked me off more than it healthily should that's for sure.
  3. His agent* Not entirely shocked by that. Squads big already and with club for sale spending both on and off the pitch will be curtailed.
  4. They're going to have paid significant money to get the tifo made. Gonna be a lot of raging morons
  5. Get it up then but the fact they approved it in the first place says all it needs to say about the submissive attitude shown by the club towards Rangers. While seemingly showing very little willing to please our own fans.
  6. It's not stopping anything is it. Bizarre idea thought up by someone and it's blindly implemented.
  7. The St. Johnstone one is the biggest nonsense. At least the Hearts one the fans are in the same stand. Closing of a section in the East Stand and North Stand to segregate fans who are already separated by 40 yards of pitchside makes very little sense. If you're going to jump the 4 foot wall and run the 40 yards to the other fans then you're going to do that regardless of whether you're located in the section nearest there or not.
  8. There's one guy employed is there not? Although the club obviously doesn't have masses of full time staff so they might be doing other things as well within the club. Probably the PR guy who orders the pies as well knowing Saints The photographer guy is paid, the guy who records the in the net go pro stuff etc. I believe he's freelance though, as often is the case for that kind of thing. The lack of content used to bother me, now I actively avoid watching the post match interviews. Especially the managers.
  9. The myth that an astroturf is an "all weather surface" doesn't help things in terms of fan perception. There is no such thing. I'm by no means an expert, nor do I know what weather Livingston had but if there was wet stuff on the pitch. The wet stuff will freeze if it's cold enough on the pitch. Still not ideal for travelling fans etc though!
  10. If the statement actually offered anything I could see why some might have changed their mind but I can't see what's changed. They've offered nothing new at all and all they've said is they might bother to consider our views this time. Why haven't they always been considering our views? It's not enticed me whatsoever to attend.
  11. "going forward the Club will take this feedback into account in considering both pricing and seating arrangements in future fixtures." Shouldn't this have been the case anyway? Absolute nothing statement that amounts to, we'll "maybe" do things differently next time with zero substance or commitment to actually do anything different. All they've done is committed to thinking about doing it differently
  12. That's the issue though. Blindly supporting the club while they're showing very little regard for those very supporters. If we all went along with this that gives them the green light for it to not be a one off.
  13. Another statement from the club. Begrudgingly admitting some of the criticism is valid? See if they didn't just dig the issue deeper and compound it with untruths then this wouldn't be such a mess.
  14. Why are so many people so keen to be walked all over? Are these the same kind of people who're standing up for the likes of Royal Mail online?
  15. The claim they made about having to pay VAR isn't quite true either as that's deducted after the clubs expenses are paid. Lies lies lies.
  16. I think we know which way that's going. Especially as they'll want to avoid the stick they'll get for the inevitable Daily Record clickbait articles about how they gave Rangers more tickets than Celtic.
  17. What Saints needed was a few people to warn them about the backlash that this would cause...? Oh.. wait, many fans did?! They thought this was an internet forum only issue. I imagine the Saints fans on here cover a wide spectrum of ages in terms of our fan base so hear what fans of their demographic think about the decision so actually probably provided a good measuring stick for the wider supports views. The Facebook response to it confirmed that. I was speaking to someone again earlier who played with Ian etc for a number of years. Yet again the comment was "I'm not sure how he got that job?" They don't have anything horrible to say about him, not a bad guy etc but he's not the first to think he is somewhat under qualified and maybe even out his depth? He could well prove us wrong though! Fair enough if he does!
  18. Did similar on like fm07 or something back in the day with a couple of friends from school. As it happens we did the Championship as well. I got sacked
  19. Both combined with the clubs attempt at justifying it by just essentially blaming the fans for the decision as well as the horrendous patronising tone and lies to justify it. They've basically said to their own fans, we don't care if you attend. They're being taught a lesson by the fans. They've doubled down and made a massive PR disaster. The response of "we have to pay £5 vat for every ticket" being right up there with a fucking pathetic excuse. Blaming VAR - which they voted for. Also trying to claim it's costing them £18,000 to cover the cost of 600 children tickets. Why lie? 600x20 is not £18,000!
  20. Purchased Tomb Raider 3 from CD Keys and gave that a go last night. I was 8 when it came out. Loved the games but struggled as well. Not sure if I actually played it when it came out or whether I was a few years older. Can see a child would struggle when replaying it now. No guidance whatsoever, not even the controls. I managed to finish the first & 4th as a kid. Didn't have the second one. Played through a remaster of the original on the 360 that was delivered as two paid dlc pieces of content for one of the TR's released during that period.. TR3 is as blocky as a I remember. Can see why they appealed at the time though.
  21. Has there ever been an fm P&B online game? Imagine the mayhem.
  22. Still astonished that it wasn't game, set and match for this thread after St. Johnstone's attempt at responding to (some) fans for the shambles that is the Rangers cup tie. Blaming VAR, VAT & police costs etc. Not sure much could top that?
