I'm not a journalist nor do I know the guys from the Courier but I doubt it's based on freebies and more about what he feels he should write professionally. For example, what would be the benefit of him writing articles that are extremely negative for example berating Davidson? While that validates some of our views and based on some of the talk on the podcast they're as frustrated as you but i I don't think articles like that really add value. There's also access. If they do start battering the club and manager they simply won't get access to the manager and other staff for interviews - you then get no insight at all from within the club.

Pulling up this post from a few days ago. Used to live close to the ground until very recently. Its certainly not one of those old football grounds with character thats for sure. (prior to the astro the pitch was always covered in dog mess) The pitch though is very well used in the community, good value to book and by all accounts difficult to get. in comparison to St Johnstones astro a few mins down the round I believe its about a third of the price to book as well. Letham pretty much had to move up levels as they'd won the amatuer leagues consecutively to Bayern Munich levels. Pointless. Last season they struggled a bit, how were they looking based on what you seen?

As a neutral on all things County it seemed like County sign a whole new squad each summer then another half squad in the Jan, especially if involved near the bottom in that Jan window. The Jan mad signing spree's seem to have stopped now though? Are you feeling confident about the signings you've made this summer? Its ALWAYS difficult for clubs in Scotland outside Edinburgh & Glasgow to replace those key players, especially with the amount of goals from the wider areas you've lost this summer!

I agree. While May did look a bit sharper and fitter on Saturday if the manager is not making any other outfield signings a well as serious about getting a tune from Bair he needs to give him a run of games. You can't bring him in and just never give him a chance. He's shown in pre season he's up for the battle by the sounds of it so now is the time to show some faith after the patience he's shown. By showing him some faith I hope that translates into confidence. A run of games I reckon would do him a lot of good, he doesn't feel the need to try to over play it in the bid to impress for example and simply just knowing the manager believes in you does wonders for someone's self belief! Looked a threat on Saturday thats for sure. Caveat it being a friendly and all the ifs and buts that come with that though.

While I probably wouldn't say it's "embarrassing" what I would say is it follows the trend in lack in the quality of engagement with fans. It's the small things, like when fans every 10 secs are asking about the strips just say "start of July" instead of just silence on the subject. A bit like they did regarding the away kit! It those kind of stories are true it begs a question on the agents motives. If a player point blank does not want to sign for a club why is his agent continuously trying to get a deal from said club? Again, if true sounds like that's who the agent wants him to sign for rather than Clark himself!

I'm getting your point. You're being too polite though. Our managers No1 isn't good enough. Based on today there's a clear first and second choice and Davidson's first choice isn't good enough.

Was seen in a&e last night being assessed but like someone else said today had no protection on his legs today. Mahon looked absolutely fine in that role today though.
