Yeah good result and performance today players were excellent today still don't get a couple of Rankin's decisions pre match however can't complain too much as we won 5-0 however like the previous poster mentioned that's Rankin viewed as even more unsackable hopefully we can gain a bit of momentum from today. -

Wow that was abysmal tonight seemed like the manager was playing for a draw just completely embarrassing he needs to go it's as simple as that. He continues to pick his favourites and puts some of our better players careers on the line before January we could all see that Josh O'Brien and Joe McGlynn were more than good enough but Rankin wouldn't play them. We've signed the top goalscorer in the Lowland League who hasn't gotten a chance. Although I wasn't buzzed when we signed Jake Hastie he's impressed anytime he's played but Rankin hasn't played him the last couple of games. I like Andy Winters passion he really cares and I'm sure he's a nice guy but he's not better than guys like Hastie,Kirk and Henderson and he comes getting subbed on over these guys. Dylan McGowan has been abysmal since he came back but continues to start every week where as Josh O'Brien had 1 bad half and was never seen again. The way the Kirk loan has went and Tait as well I doubt Hearts or Hibs will be interested in loaning us a player for a long time thanks to Rankin. I really like Seref but the longer he keeps Rankin the longer he's going to loss more trust with the fans going forward at the moment it honestly wouldn't shock me if we finished 5th he must go. -

We've shown this season that we can really slip up in any game so wouldn't surprise me if we dropped more points tonight like the past couple of games i would happily take a loss if it gets rid of Rankin however I think we will scrape a win tonight which will really be paper over the cracks and Rankin will act like everything is fine again. See tbf at the time for some reason I thought it was Lyness who passed it out turns out it was Kilday so i was wrong there and looking back it's still a really poor pass so Kilday needs to take responsibility there. I agree Williamson needs to take blame also think Barjonas does as well there, both were very poor for that goal. I still think Lyness could do a bit better but admittedly it wasn't as bad as I thought at the time. However at the same I agree that it was a good strike so we need to credit the Alloa player on that doesn't change the fact that goal was very avoidable though. -

He was at fault for the first goal and didn't look comfortable the full game for me however maybe part of that is due to him not playing in a couple of months. But from what I've heard from Airdrie fans he's a bit like that every game. I never put the blame on him for the defeat today I blame that on Rankin however I wasn't impressed by Lyness either. -

How he's still here is laughable was expecting to lose today and could tell we were after the way we started the game. Kyle Macdonald obviously has gotten a really serious injury today and I really hope he is OK and recovers seems like it will be a long time before we see him back on the pitch. Rankin's decision to bring Andy Winter on though and play him as a winger when he's got Euan Henderson and Jake Hastie on the bench is embarrassing and another example of his playing his favourites rather than he's best players. That Lyness looked a complete bomb. What does Dylan McGowan need to do to get dropped? Another dreadful performance from him today. We had Josh O'Brien but because he had 1 bad half he never got played again but McGowan continues to play every week. The longer Seref keeps Rankin the more fans are going to lose trust in him as well we've got more chance of finishing 5th than what have of winning the playoffs with Rankin. It's bad enough watching us on a Saturday now we've got 2 games coming up next week. -

Another day of Gerry Strain looking like a complete mug. Still can't believe there was Accies fans who genuinely thought that the 3 Falkirk players article was a good idea knew it would come back to bite us at the time and it definitely has. -
Falkirk could have easily won the game more comfortably they got the early 3-0 Goals and if they wanted to they could have gotten more by your comparison both Falkirk and Annan must be on the same level then? As Annan also beat us 3-2 the week before. However as you mentioned later in your post Bobby Wales must be a certainty to score this weekend really standing out as one of the most in form players in the division currently and I expect him to get into Kilmarnock's first team at some point.

Another long afternoon ahead which is likely to turn toxic again this weekend. Some fans think 2nd is secured but Rankin will find a way to bottle that as well can see another defeat here being imminent and if that gets rid of Rankin like fans said last week I would take it Accies 1-3 Alloa.

Doesn't shock me that the people that approved Goodwillie in the first place tried to keep McGlynn those new owners that have came in and Raith would have probably gotten rid of him -

He's an OK manager and usually does get results however it ended at Raith because he signed a certain player which put Raith in jeopardy (not saying he was the only person who made the decision though) there's certainly a big difference from the championship to league 1 in my opinion which will be hard for players who've played in league 1 for a couple of seasons to get used to. Arbroath likely going down means unless a PT team won the playoffs all of the championship will be FT next season it will certainly be interesting to see what happens in that league next season. -

I don't know about that we all know how it ended for McGlynn at Raith. -

Airdrie have arguably the best manager in the championship though only a matter of time before McCabe gets a job elsewhere. -

Surely Gerry wouldn't have the licence/badges to be a manager? There's few things out there that would make me stop going to games but Gerry Strain being the manager would probably be one of those. Seref can't let that happen and if he does their be riots. -

We'll soon see if you're able to do it on a regular basis. I'm not saying that you won't either. At the end of the day Falkirk fans watch you're team every week so you will know more about your own team than we will. I just don't think you've been excellent in any of the games against us even though you have been the better side in probably all 3 of them but will you be able to do that against better managed sides? -

Yeah let's be honest you're going up we've fucked it up ourselves by not removing Rankin in the summer after he relegated us or in November after we got chucked out the cup at Home to Kelty. Not saying we would have won the league if we had a better manager but what I will say is there is no chance Falkirk would be about to go 14 points clear in February after they win on Tuesday. What you said about squads changing is true and maybe I'm wrong there. -

Aye I don't think you'll go down but I don't think you'll be challenging for playoffs/title either which I think some of your fans will be expecting. Depends on how much you strengthen and who you lose as well -

He has to go it's as simple as that 3-0 down in league 1 after half an hour is embarrassing we got 2 consolation goals felt like the games in the premiership during the covid where we were 3/4-0 after 20/30 minutes got a couple of goals back but never looked like getting anything from the game. His starting lineup was embarrassing as was his changes. Keeping him to the end of the season would be mental as we would have zero chance of winning the playoffs keeping him beyond that would be putting the club's future in jeopardy. Alloa can close the gap to 6 on us next week. As for Falkirk they were decent and deserve to win this league but can see them getting a reality check next season in the championship like Dunfermline have. -
Yeah that was my point.

I don't even need to name Accies players here Stone (QOTS) Wales (Alloa) Fyvie (Cove) Burrell (Cove Lyon (Kelty) Those are 5 straight away that I can think of who are championship level.
