  1. Alloa have picked up more points than us since the first quarter.
  2. We have been out of the title race for a while now and have absolutely zero chance of winning the playoffs as long as Rankin is in charge. This is a meaningless game and would probably be better in the long run if we got battered so it's another step closer (hopefully the last step) of getting Rankin sacked. The league's is Falkirks. I'm still going tomorrow but aren't expecting much and expect it to be a very long and depressing afternoon for us.
  3. Again he's not liked by Rankin so unless we have a new manager in by June I don't expect that we'll see McGlynn again which is a shame cause he's a really good player I can only see him scoring more goals for Kelty best of luck to him though and hopefully he continues to make Rankin look like a mug.
  4. Yep that's one of the many reasons we want Rankin gone. Most of our fans could see McGlynn was a player but because he wasn't one of Rankin's favourites he didn't play.
  5. Yeah that's fair enough. My personal opinion is that he has to go before the playoffs as we would have no chance of winning a playoff under him and again on the injury matter we should still have had more than enough to get by.
  6. I think most of the replacements are up for the job just not really been given a shot by Rankin and he just keeps playing his favourites. Some of the many examples of this is that's he stuck with Dylan McGowan the full season even though every Accies fan can see he needs to be dropped as he's been rotten and comes across as one of these players who thinks he's a lot better than what he actually is if I was John McGlynn I would be telling the Falkirk players to put pressure on him on Saturday same with Tumilty who's also been very disappointing this season and not been dropped. He kept bringing on Andy Winter and Joel Mumbongo over Joe McGlynn for weeks when it's clear McGlynn is milles better than those 2. Mumbongo and McGlynn are now out on loan I'm expecting McGlynn to score a good amount of goals at Kelty and he's one to watch. He also didn't give Chrissy McGinn a chance this season when he impressed last season in the championship and was excellent in our Uefa Youth league game and instead sees Stephen Hendrie as a better option who again is rotten.
  7. Injuries is not an excuse and a very poor attempt at defending Rankin as a Falkirk fan said we have a massive squad we should be able to handle 3 injuries. We've just dropped points at home to 2 part time teams who couldn't fill their benches so don't come out with that garbage.
  8. That's actually a good shout and a guy I like as well however I think he has something outside football so won't go full-time.
  9. How is someone who was interested in the Ayr job and didn't get it extremely unrealistic for Accies?
  10. i would say Gary Bowyer who was at Dundee last season and got them promoted then was sacked he was recently linked with the Ayr job as well. Would have said Darren Young at Stirling but he's signed a new contract there so that's probably unlikely now.
  11. If Falkirk were to get an early goal here I can see this being a complete collapse and a very long, embarrassing and toxic afternoon for ourselves Falkirk 5-0 Accies
  12. We haven't been unfortunate we were good at the start of the season but since then we've been poor most weeks apart from an excellent performance against QOTS where we won 5-0. Teams have caught on to us and Rankin has no clue on how to change it. His subs are abysmal and regularly cost us points we finished the game on Saturday with 2 defenders I said to people at the game if we were to get the game back to 2-2 we would just concede again with how open Rankin left us. the home game before that he went far too defensive when Montrose weren't really causing much trouble and again we ended up dropping more points. He has fallen out with about 8 different players most of them being players that he signed it's clear to see on the pitch that most players have stopped playing for him and he's lost the full fanbase now. I can honestly see this Saturday being a long embarrassing day for us where we completely collapse. The longer he stays the more emptier the stadium is going to get we need to get rid of him so we can build a bit of momentum for the playoffs if Rankin is still in charge we have no chance in the playoffs at least if we had a new manager in and ended up losing them it would let a new manager see what needs improved for next season keeping Rankin only benfits Falkirk and the teams who are in the playoffs.
  13. Will post this again this is the league league table since everyone played each other once (Since teams found out how to play against Rankin) an Alloa win against Edinburgh at home tomorrow would see them go above us.
  14. You say you don't care about Rankin however I'm pretty sure you were one of the Falkirk fans who was saying it was absolutely mental that we wanted him gone. Falkirk fans keep missing the point Accies fans don't think Falkirk are a shite team and very few fans think we would have walked this league with a different manager our point is that it would have went right down to the wire with a decent manager and the league wouldn't have been over at the start of February.
  15. The league table since the first round of fixtures (since teams found Rankin out) Alloa could go above us on Tuesday if they were to beat Edinburgh at Home and Cove are only 1 point behind us But it's fine according to some Falkirk fans nobody will challenge us next season so we should just keep Rankin and it's absolutely mental according to them that we all want him gone.
  16. Yes. This is the same manager that got us relegated in a division with 2 part time teams in it he should have went then. This season he has been backed fully by the new owner with pretty much a full new squad with the players he wanted and is wasting a good group of players. 1 win in our last 5 at home we haven't won 3 in a row since the 29th September. His subs kill us every other week. He has also fallen out with about 8 different players that he signed. A big part of his reputation before he joined us was improving youth players we had a youth squad in Europe this season and apart from Ryan Oné (who's left now) he hasn't given any of them a chance we had 2 youth players coming on for their debut at Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago but by the time Rankin attempted to bring them on the full time whistle went then the club had the arrogance to blame the ref. He's a complete clown and until he goes there is no chance that we will get out of this league.
  17. Those 2 guys you mentioned got a lot of things wrong but at least had some sort of an idea and a gameplan Rankin has none.
  18. That was just completely embarrassing today. His subs again were awful bringing Redfren on at HT instead of Henderson. He was already leaving us open enough with going to a back 3 so he then decides to leave us even more open and takes McGowan off (who has been awful all season and should have been dropped ages ago but today wasn't the time to take him unless it was to bring Kilday on) and we end up with 2 defenders as soon as that sub happened I said to a couple of people if we get this back to 2-2 they will just score again and no surprise to see that's what happened. He must go now so we can build a but of momentum for the playoffs with Rankin in charge there is absolutely zero chance that we will win in the playoffs got us relegated last season and won't get us promoted. Dread to think what's going to happen next week will be a very long afternoon.
  19. That was fucking embarrassing even if we come back and win this game. This clown of a manager won't do going to be a long afternoon next week.
  20. One of these games where we really should be winning comfortably no disrespect to Annan. Would be nice to get a couple of goals here and try and get a bit of confidence up for next week's game hopefully a couple of the new signings can get a goal here as well. Accies 4-0 Annan
  21. No of course teams are going to have chances but we were nowhere near good enough in the first half yesterday apart from us hitting the bar I can't remember us creating anything else in that first half. QOTS would have been ahead of it wasn't for Jamie making a couple of good saves and Fergus being outstanding once again. Second half was much better and we deserved the 3 points in the end.
  22. Really poor first half rightly got booed at HT Queens could have been 1 up. Second half we were better and deserved to win QOTS collapsed after we went 1-0 up. McGowan and Tumilty both need dropped although QOTS didn't take advantage of it both looked terrible today and haven't been good enough this season. Fergus, Lewis and Jamie Smith were excellent today.
