You either go for a merry go round type manager to try and hope you’re competitive or go for a good prospect like Murray or McCabe to try and build longer term. I’d go for the latter. Martindale’s position being questioned is absolutely outrageous. He’s shown himself as a very good manager and I’m not convinced there’s better out there for Livi.

Yeah his recruitment has been brilliant. Portales is some find in particular. He just oozes class. I wasn’t sure when I saw his debut but since coming back in against Hibs away he’s been class.

We’re a good striker away from comfortably being a top six side in my opinion.
