  1. initially we were only paying the interest on the bank loan for the stadium for which sim is the guarantor but have been making inroads on payment and the loan was sitting at under 400k a few years back however the complicated structure of who owns what at starks, the inner workings of our finances and the fact were still waiting on the accounts from 2012 or is it 2011 its difficult to tell the exact sum still outstanding sims committment at the time of the rescue was and still is to my knowledge to do his best to gauarantee football at Stark's Park until 2021 by which time he was hoping to have the bank debt retired.he has or had no intention of selling the ground although i know the directors are doing their level best to reclaim the ground somehow 2ndpara,aye how ironic
  2. supposition whos to say either clubs will be here next season never mind in twenty years from now.besides twenty years from now is nae good to me as theres a fair chance i`ll no be here too true anyway good luck
  3. outwith the stadium i`m led to believe our debt is in the 5 figure bracket now.where are you getting £1m+to reaquire the stadium? still dont get why this cva agreement is a good thing for us.as i said previously, unless we get them in a cup they have no impact on us for at least a season if not longer.
  4. not been critical of the fans.i`m pleased for the fans for the time and effort in raising cash and seeing their hard work pay dividends but critical of the way the club was run, continually running up debt and no means to pay and using the escape route of administration and a CVA whilst other clubs including our own took the other route in cutting back to the bare bones in an attempt to pay debts and stave off administrattion.its not a case of throwing stones at glases houses and well aware of our situation in the mid to late nineties.at least we have or are trying to face up to our responsibilities yes were still paying for it now and will for a few years because were trying to pay our way out of financial situation by facing our responsibility this yes we have creditors but the list has been reduced dramatically
  5. the best i could come up with at the time but the common denominator is obvious
  6. not bitter at all and why is todays news good for us.unless we draw them in the cup or relegated at the end of next season unlikely to have an impact on us yes we have a history of been unable to balance or books but not to the extent of shafting everyone left right and centre by entering admin and no alternaqtive acceptance offer of zero in the £ .,we are or having at least been trying to balance our books.we have cut staff and wages, given up our rights to ownership of our stadium in an attempt to do so.nobody is claiming we live within our means dignity line but at least some are attempting to do something about it.if your comfortable with their situation and how the have done it it says more about you agree regards scottish football as a whole need to find a solution but an equally bigger responsibility is on those running clubs
  7. surprised to see a councillor finding shafting HMRC and small businesses funny
  8. lesson learned is for clubs that work hard to make ends meet, paying their tax ,cutting staff, cutting wages trying to balance books should follow the Dunfermline model
  9. thanks for that so it appears i may well be correct in saying dunfermline are securing a ground funded by the tax payer worth ?? for basically nothing
  10. will this be lease based or is a bank bailed out by the tax payer writing off 12 mill loan or whatever it is on east end park?
  11. no but the tax payer will be shafted i would like to see the c***s that incur these debts pulled over the coals for it
  12. spot on michael do some honestly think murray wont be concerned with how we gifted 5 goals and virtually capitulated in the second half?sure as feck he aint reclining in his managers chair telling the players ,hey lads we lost 5-0 but dont worry about it, it was only a friendly
  13. more so if supporters see pat clark as being part of the best strike force outwith the ****
  14. would you go away happy if it had been a league game and we`d been scudded but played attractive football? hiya grant
  15. when did you last see him play?.ellis is a fine central defender, his best position.we have a central defender at the moment who could described as too physical and no pace
  16. if there weren`t they`d be no point in these forums it depends what its a half empty bottle of
  17. and I dont?heavens i made a comment based on what i have seen so far no different to numerous on here calling for another centre half based on what they have seen so far i would say hibs would see us as a lesser team but failed to score and it cant be argued that we pushed their squads fitness. aware of that.i thought we playe well in the first half against Sheffield and very good in the second half against Hibs but didn`t see us as being particular dreative or on the whole dabgerous
  18. about as superfluous as my statement then at present thats all i can gauge my opinion on and did mention that i think on the night hibs were not better than us., i wouldn`t know f*ck knows what happen to the quotes
  19. "should" being the operative word. albeit friendlies and apart from spences bundled goal against sheffield united none of our three signed strikers have looked like scoring or even looked dangerous
