    Yeah I do agree with this. However, with the current settled back 4 we were a lot more solid at the back and pretty much all of the games we collapsed defensively last year or conceded 3+ was with a different combination usually with young deveney at left back who really struggled defensively at times and Watson out of position at centre back, not to mention Rae being out for the first half of the season. So I don’t actually think we’re far off defensively as we’ve just got Hancock who will hopefully provide a bit of pace at left centre back. I’d say if we get a decent out and out left back I’d be really happy with our defence for the season at least personnel wise. That with another winger with a bit more end product and I’d be pretty confident of a decent season.

    If the law says that’s not a penalty then the law needs changed. However, that’s not an excuse for the result as Gallagher should have still scored an open goal from 2 yards out.

    Yeah surprisingly it wasn’t the recruitment part of that statement I took issue with. To imply the only way we’ll get points is through diving is an interesting take shall we say and also seems to be at odds with what other Dunfermline fans have said today.

    Hard to imagine us getting a better one in than him. He was called up to Northern Ireland’s first team last year.

    Sorry I’m just not seeing the superiority of these teams that you are.

    Ok Partick fair enough but I think we’re in a far better position than Arbroath and don’t see anything between us and Morton. Then you look at Dunfermline who have basically the same team with 2 of their best players out injured. Are Inverness in a much better position than us? Most of the league are in a very similar position to us so I still see no reason to panic at this stage.

    Yeah I do agree with that, I just don’t agree with the notion that if we don’t get them in the door before Saturday we’re guaranteed to finish 10th. we need to remember Dunfermline also haven’t strengthened from last year and the player who scored the winner in the only game they beat us plays for us now.
