  1. Pretty sure, probably and I'm guessing. That's some really strong points you've made there. And funnily enough, all wrong.
  2. As opposed to spunking it away on necessary rapists?
  3. Not the size of the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog which matters. And there is plenty of fight in young McCann. Although not the tallest laddie he wins a surprising amount of aerial challenges and even when he doesn't the opponent isn't getting a free header. Your loss is definitely our gain. Happy New year to all* *Tories excluded.
  4. Not convicted of anything. Lost a claim for damages at a civil court where the burden of proof is substantially lessened from a criminal court. The Crown Office clearly felt there was insufficient evidence to gain a conviction or they'd have served a complaint or indicted him. You need to be sure of your facts before branding someone a "convicted rapist".
  5. Hacked!?! Fordyce tripped Victoria in the Raith half, before he was even near the half way line. And on past form with Victoria, even he probably had no fucking idea where he was heading so no you're completely wrong on that summary. It was a typical "professional", taking a yellow for the team type foul and never in a month of Sundays a red which the panel clearly agreed with.
  6. Think you may be right, club match review has it as Millar, I'll watch the highlights soon.
  7. Pretty poor game today, never really managed to get the ball down and play as we can. 1st goal given to Gallacher looked to me like an OG off the post and then the keepers back. Penalty I didn't see what happened and really don't think anyone was claiming but the ref must have seen holding or such like to give it. McDonald was very unfortunate with his shot off the bar and then us losing right on half time made for a nervy second half. Ref was poor, despite giving us the penalty, seemed happy to penalise us for wee nudges but not so much when Peterhead were at the same thing. McAllister is really good at these nudges and has always managed to get away with them so has clearly been teaching his teammates. Brown I think who got the yellow for Peterhead was fortunate that it wasn't last weeks ref who would've shown a red for it. Pleased with the points and the Falkirk Raith draw was probably the best result allowing us to draw level with Raith yet move further away from Falkirk.
  8. The leading leg/foot seemed okay but it looks like the trailing leg took the boy out. Only the Raith player could say for certain if that was deliberate or not but I reckon he knew what he was doing. Difference being we lost a game narrowly where there weren't many chances. So he's hardly likely to say that Raith fully deserved the victory and were the better side because quite simply they weren't. But they got the points and that's what matters come 5pm on a Saturday. East Fife on the other hand were utter guff and the manager could have acknowledged that they didn't deserve anything. But he's an arse and he didn't.
  9. Not likely at all seeing as the ref produced yellows to each player so in the eyes of the SFA he saw the matter and dealt with it.
  10. Not quite correct as I saw it. They were initially allowed to do their thing in that area, now known as the family friendly section. I certainly never saw anyone complaining about them. They're may have been some auld farts muttering under their breath but that would have been it. I can't recall the opposition but the match which changed it was when they attempted to sit right next to the taped off section between home and away fans, possibly for some winding up. That was when they were moved by stewards, probably on the instruction of the polis match commander. They then tried to sit behind the away dugout, which would have been interesting, but were again moved by stewards.
  11. Thought the "penalty" was a dive at the time so looking to check that one on highlights tomorrow. Happy to take it though. Definitely the better side throughout and the clean sheet with 4 scored is a bonus in the goal difference stakes. Hopefully the goal for Roy will get his confidence back up a bit too.
  12. If it's Owen Ronald then yes, he's the son of Paul. Started at Queens Park, bounced around a fair few lower league clubs and ended up juniors.
  13. No beef with Falkirk he just fucking loves it when the diamonds win. If winning meant even half as much to your shower of underachievers you'd be romping the league.
  14. Mention on it of some fans being hit with lawyers letters on behalf of the club, WTF is that all about?
  15. That would have the advantage (for directors and coaching staff) that they couldn't hear the "abuse" aimed at them.
  16. JB always maintained that there would be no spending anything other than income generated. I do recall him having to recoup some personal losses one season when the wage bill was in excess of what came in. Wotherspoon (for first season anyway) and current owner(s) seem to have found the location of the tory magic money tree. Or some kindly benefactor who prefers their money to go through club accounts for an inexplicable reason.
  17. What is this scapegoat blueprint? And I'll be fair here, Crighton's distribution throughout the match was fucking horrendous, the keeper was poor but in fairness to him he's not got a lot of experience playing behind such a woeful back line. McDonald and McCann suffered from exceptionally poor decision making regards when to pass instead of trying to take a man on (although again in fairness to them it's difficult to pass when there is nobody looking to take a pass).
  18. Murray bemoaning the "lack of tempo" yesterday. Really? If it's tempo he wants why is he playing such a slow lump as Wedderburn? Wedderburn can receive the ball from a team mate and I can go get my pie and bovril in the time it takes for him to decide a further 3 yard pass to either side of him is in order.
  19. We're following the Hamilton model and shouldn't ask where the money comes from.
  20. Wedderburn couldn't dictate the fucking alphabet. I was watching the game where McKay was at least trying to get the ball forward and making runs himself.
  21. In fairness to McKay he actually looked alright today and not just playing alongside wedderburn would make anyone look good. He was getting on the ball in the middle and when players behind him had the ball he made some good runs forward which his teammates couldn't fucking see. Wedderburn is a fucking waste of space. Slow of movement and slow of thought. The only playoffs we'll be troubling this season are the relegation ones unless something drastic happens. At the moment this club fucking stinks from the top down.
  22. Seems to have been in the Record but can't find it online. This appears to be a lift of the article though. https://www.nottheoldfirm.com/news/hearts-scottish-cup-winner-colin-cameron-set-for-a-return-to-senior-football-with-airdrieonians/amp/
