  1. I kind of get where he is coming from, perhaps he is trying to call them out and motivate them for the run in ? But ultimately, if we are indeed relegated, it will be down to ourselves and our own results over the season, not if Arbroath " down tools" for the remainder. Our problems have been a lot closer to home this year, (metaphorically and statistically).
  2. Good Morning How has young Keith Bray been getting on with you? He certainly was showing great promise here before he was (surprisingly) loaned out to you. Thanks DM
  3. Was the last time he was on the field also Hampden at the cup final??
  4. That is a shame, for both you and him, although not wholly unexpected. Still a brilliant player on his day when fit. Top bloke as well.
  5. How has Wotherspoon been for you? Didn't seem like he was playing or even on bench last night from the brief highlights I saw?
  6. Nach biodh e sgoinneil nam biodh e air!!! Although as previously discussed, I would bet the croft on Sheridan coming back to haunt us....
  7. Indeed. Off the top of my head Gilmour and Longstaff have been relegated with Cove last season? As much as Gilmour had been one of our more consistent performers, consecutive relegations would certainly not be a good look on any players résumé, although I'm not sure how involved either were for Cove last year if I'm honest, so perhaps I'm being unfair. The manager himself may be headed for two clubs managed / two relegated - a remarkable achievement.... Has any one else in the modern game achieved this fête so early on in their managerial career ?
  8. Is there usually an online stream for your home games ? Ta
  9. Correct. I said it at the time that I was worried for us when Wotherspoon left and wasn't in anyway replaced, and so it has proved. The football has been diabolical since then. As much as he hasn't been as good as last season, Shaw at least tries to be direct and positive and I believe has been missed the last couple of games. We're doomed....
  10. Well and truly. I'm beginning to suspect that Ferguson's wretched spell at Forest Green wasn't an outlier...
  11. We could have played till tomorrow and wouldn't have scored... Our home form is relegation material. Very worrying.
  12. The boy McAllister looked completely lost after coming on I thought , game seemed to completely pass him by. Not going to write him off by any means, but by the end of the game we were playing like what we are - a team of strangers thrown together. Worrying times.
  13. If he stays fit he will be a great player for you. Big if though... Glad he's not playing Saturday! Should be a tight game.
  14. He's the kind of player we should be keeping for our own relegation scrap, if it is Livingston's relegation scrap you are referring to?
  15. "If He is for us who can stand against us?" God bless you Alex Samuel.
  16. The use of the word "character" seems to be used increasingly these days by coaches and pundits, almost as some sort of unquantifiable trait that some players and teams either do or do not possess. "My team showed great character today" and such phrases seem meaningless to me, unless this indeed something that can be coached and is expected of players today?? To quote The Wolf - " Just because you are a character, doesn't mean you have character".
  17. I'll be honest I'd never heard of him, but someone I know who works with the Scotland U21s speaks highly of him so fingers crossed he can bring something to the team.
  18. I really like Udjur I think he's been a great find, but I'd have Devine in there instead of him currently. He's been pretty steady recently.
  19. From what I witnessed last night and the last few months, said 33 year old walks into that team. Granted you were missing some regulars last night I believe ? Wotherspoon will be a brilliant addition to Utd, I would expect.
  20. I agree with your sentiment. His time with us was definitely coming to an end , but with him back to fitness and us being very much in the mire of a relegation dogfight, I might have expected him to be at least kept to the end of this season.
  21. I appreciate your salute! We are currently awaiting the return train up the road from Queen St. Not a classic, but a fair result all told. Lawless was fair terrorising us down the right that first half but thankfully he didn't get into it second half. Merry Christmas all, safe travels home.
  22. This is one of my concerns currently - if Wotherspoon has an off day, or is indeed marked out of a game, I don't see anyone else creating and linking up with Mckay like he can. Shaw aside , the rest of our attacking options are limited.
