The manner of the defeat was poor. We had one shot on goal after a few and that was it. We couldn’t get near them second half. The players have shown some level of ability this season, they should have been able to pose more of a threat.

So we agree they’re not good enough players to contend for a third tier title?

It’s relevant because they don’t have the personalities to deal with big pressure games, better players thrive in these games.

Don’t be ridiculous, it’s finished. I think we could win every game till the end of the season, including against Dunfermline, and still wouldn’t win the league now.

It’s a bit McKinnon-esque by McGlyn to suggest we were good in the first half. We created absolutely nothing. God knows how he can say we should score when we’re on top, you need to have chances to actually get a goal. This is majorly concerning going into playoffs with the same problems. We haven’t won one must win match in around 5-years now so why would it be any different once we need to win the playoffs? These players should appreciate playing in front of a crowd like that yesterday because they certainly wouldn’t be good enough for Falkirk in pretty much any other era in our history.

I thought they were odds on to win the league with the way those lot were behaving a few months ago. I forget Ayr should be a top 6 premiership team so the fans are quite right to want the manager sacked.

What a self entitled bunch Falkirk really are. Who are they to think it’s acceptable to go to Airdrie and win? Such an obnoxious lot, to have the audacity of going 11-points clear of Airdrieonians! And to score 3-goals as well!

It’s a great draw for us but we need to be on it to win this one, good to finally get a home draw as well. shows how bad things have gotten over the last 5 years when Ayr are favourites playing at the Falkirk Stadium, but that’s the position we’ve found ourselves in.

Airdrie really aren’t all that, it’s a team we should’ve beaten by now but I’m still worried about playing them tbh.
