  1. Of course it’s relevant, the average attendance for League 1 is well below 1000. It’s a huge difference for part time players playing in front of 4000 fans.
  2. Rubbish, it’s still over 4000 we average which is good considering we have no away fans to welcome playing in this league.
  3. I remember watching Clyde beat us in a game a few years back where they found a level no one knew they had. I Just so happen to be at one of their games a week later and they didn’t put anywhere near the effort in that they did against us. We’re playing against teams who aren’t used to playing in front of a crowd like ours and they find an extra gear.
  4. Well every team wants to beat Falkirk in this league, teams certainly seem to find an extra stride that they don’t have in other games. It’s an advantage all our rivals have over us.
  5. The problem Falkirk have is that teams like Montrose try harder against us than others. However, we should be beating these teams irrespective of that.
  6. I think the problem Queens have is it’s going to cost a lot to pay Bartley off. You also then have to recruit and there’s no obvious choice for who you bring in that can genuinely improve results. League 1 is not a good place to be when things start going wrong, the league is not suitable for full-time clubs. Falkirk average 4000 at home and we have found ourselves financially struggling. I do feel for you.
  7. You were a bit late to see some of the best Falkirk players I’ve seen as a fan. Kenny Milne sticks out as the best defender I saw.
  8. It’s been a great run to get to the semis considering we’ve had to beat championship opposition on three occasions (granted Ayr are more like a League 1 club in stature). Tonight was brilliant to watch, that intensity has been completely absent in big games for years.
  9. Not going to complain with taking three points but performances can be a concern. Better teams may take advantage of that.
  10. It’s too many games that we keep saying we’ve not played well but got the win. We need to start winning more convincingly with games like this at home.
  11. Haha excuse my poor grammar. At least we know you have something to offer kids, doesn’t excuse your hard drive unfortunately.
  12. I take it your the uncle that needs the hard drive checked?
  13. I can assure you that the stadium will turn sour if we play as diabolically as we have prior to McGlynn arriving. No doubt fans can lift players but there’s only so much fans can do. Some of the players we’ve had in a Falkirk top in recent years needed new legs and a different head to play even to a reasonable standard.
  14. Yeah Sheran and McKinnon assembled a team that would’ve won the league, the atmosphere in the stadium was to blame.
  15. The fans respond to what they see. Falkirk sides prior to this season for the last 4-years were playing some of the worst stuff I had seen as a Falkirk fan in my lifetime. The players showed no ability and created next to nothing against part-time teams in a lot of cases which is why we couldn’t get a result. Blaming the fans for that is just ridiculous. Hardly going to see me clapping and happy losing at home to Clyde. The atmosphere this season has been excellent, coincidentally at a time where we’ve had the best start ever to a league campaign.
  16. This is definitely true, the league is very weak and is as bad as it’s been since we’ve come down. It makes the games against Hamilton even more important.
  17. The club are disappointed that the ref won’t let us play in yellow against a team who play in yellow. Really couldn’t foresee that.
  18. I know he’s nowhere near good enough to be full-time, so yes, I know he’s never been approached by Falkirk
  19. He never has or will have Falkirk making him an offer, he just has to take pride on sharing a pitch with Falkirk players a few times this season
  20. Unfortunately McGregor can’t get near even thinking about playing for the club in his home town. He has to settle with part-time football
  21. I think we all agree that Brian is one of our more challenged fan who’s had a fair few incidents through the years. However, unloading him on that clown of a captain was fantastic to see.
  22. League One this season is as bad a standard as it’s been since we’ve been down. The other full-time teams are closer to relegation than promotion right now. It means the importance of these head to heads are higher because Hamilton aren’t going to drop a lot of points.
  23. Started alright but never got any flow to our play tonight. Quite disappointing to not create one decent chance in the whole game. At least we didn’t lose.
