I hope you actually start showing Rankin a bit of credit. That’s a fantastic run Hamilton are on at the moment and to be on that points tally is actually very respectable. I don’t think you could realistically expect to do much better than that.

Thought the McManus appearance on Falkirk Daft was great. Have very fond memories of him during his second spell at Falkirk. I think it also shows that Presley doesn’t get enough recognition for what he did at the club during a horrendous financial situation. The 11/12 season where all our youth players made up most of the squad is actually one of the best seasons I can remember being a fan. Presley did do amazingly well to get us 3rd and recruited very well with the limited resources he had.

That still doesn’t compensate for the fact you have such low attendances. Running a youth programme costs a fortune.

Yes if they win the games then can’t argue that they have the right to be in better positions. However, the expectation that they should be competing in the premiership or contending for promotion in the championship is just ludicrous. They have massively over performed for around 10-15 years.

I do admire the lack of awareness Accies fans have. If you can barely get over 1000 fans at home when you’re doing well then you have absolutely no right to be in the top division; it should make you a yoyo team between third tier and second tier. Where does your money come from? How do you legitimately compete against teams like Falkirk and Dunfermline?

Hard game today and did well to get the win. Another team in this devision finding an extra two gears just because they’re playing Falkirk. At least our team is good enough to handle that this season.

Been quite a reality check for Stirling fans this season, gone from title challengers to the punching bag of the league very quickly. If we play decent we win, simple as that.

I’d hope we fare better than Dunfermline have in the championship this year.

The championship next season looks like it’ll have no part-time teams in it. For every season we were there before there was at least 1 or 2 part-time teams. It’s going to be competitive and even clubs like Ayr think they have a right to be top half. I think the team we have at the moment will do ok but we probably do need to strengthen well in the summer.

We’re now sitting on more points now with 9-games to go than we finished on last season. That does say a lot for how far we’ve come this season.

Did Morrison get on at any point?

I really don’t see the appeal of supporting OF. Their fans in the Falkirk area have a habit of piss taking Falkirk fans which is strange as well.

It wasn’t a laughable defeat, that’s disrespectful to Alloa, a team who’s on significantly better form than you. I can assure you, results won’t take a dramatic upturn if you get rid of Rankin.

Really looking forward to seeing Accies Only tonight. Hope he doesn’t go missing like after the Anan game.

I want to say that after goal 3 Hamilton played absolutely out of their skin whilst Falkirk were as bad as they’ve been all season at that point. Does show the gulf in class between the teams when Falkirk can have as bad a performance at home all season and Hamilton have a fantastic performance and still lose. Really reiterates that Rankin is doing a fine job with the players he has. The boo boys clearly have no real concept of what he’s working with.

Just wondering what sort of meltdown Scottish football are having now. Must be so disappointing to see Falkirk 11-points clear at the top.

You’re missing the point, you don’t have good players which is why you’re dropping points.

You can talk about bringing in a new manager, but that won’t change results. There’s been a real misplaced confidence amongst Accies fans with team you have, it’s not a team that can expect to compete with Falkirk. Rankin might not be an outstanding manager but he’s done a decent job this season. The board is where Accies need change.

How did that go for you?

I still stand by that Airdrie are crap. We were an embarrassment last season which is why we lost in the playoffs so badly. If we drop any points against you next season it’s unacceptable.

Airdrie have no chance against them, they’re far better than any of the teams in this cup.
