Well I think it’s clear the people running your club are completely incompetent. If you’re going to do business you should be discreet about it. You certainly shouldn’t tell your fans that you’re going to sign three of your rivals players; even if it was true but in the end turned out to be nonsense. Not only that, but you then lose your best midfielder to your league rivals to compile the embarrassment.

Hamilton really aren’t a good team, I don’t think there’s any Hamilton player I’d take over any of the first team at Falkirk. Despite the slack Rankin takes, he’s doing a good job with an average group of players. QOS should be looking to get something from this game, no reason why they can’t.

I think we need to prioritise getting a decent keeper in at the moment. GK errors is mainly the reason we’re out of the cup and a number of errors have nearly cost us in many games; Hamilton and Dundee United are games where bad GK mistakes didn’t help.

Well said, an insignificant club who care far more about us than we do. A small club with no real rivalry.

That was a f….ing disgusting performance. All focus on the league now though. Despite the prays McGllyn has received this season there are concerns still around him. His contract is up at the end of the season and make no mistake if he fails to gain promotion with us he will NOT be here next season.

That was self destruct from McGlynn, ridiculous to rest players today. We just came through a really hard 4-days with 6-points and then he makes changes like that. We’re playing in the cup next week against a non-league team, rest the players then.

I can’t stand the “you are where you should be” that we hear aimed at us a lot. It’s usually aimed at us by the fans of the smaller clubs who are in the championship. We are where we are, it’s not where we should be. Not with the resources available to us.

Just watched over the highlights from last night. I’m wondering if the Cove players have inherited some of the learning disabilities of their manager? What on earth are they complaining to the referee for with the second goal? There’s absolutely no foul on any of them.

See this is where I get confused by what standard some teams in Scotland think they should be competing at. No doubt Queens are way off where they should be. However, Queens should not be competing with Falkirk and should never be at the same standard as us. We have a crowd size 4X that of Queens; that means 4X as much money on transfers and wages. This fact seems to bypass too many of the fans at the other clubs in Scotland, hence why Falkirk fans get called self-entitled.

United should just get rid of Goodwin, that team should be stream rolling the championship. Plenty of premiership standard players there. Losing to that dross is unacceptable at Tanadice.

Tbh I think it does say a lot, a few of their fans all excited over the devastation Falkirk will suffer over losing Morison. Although we actually won’t be devastated by it. We’ve got a great team and Morrison might not even be in our top two players this season.

Haha I’m not failing to grasp that concept. The problem is that the money they make from selling those youth players has to be weighed up with the expenditure of running a big youth programme. The money they make from these sales doesn’t explain how they may have more money to spend on their first team than we do.

But they could get more money if they hold on to them for longer because they won’t get huge money for selling u16 players. Not enough money to explain how they could potentially out spend us.

Fair enough, but running a successful youth system costs a huge amount of money as Falkirk know. If Hamilton linger in league 1 then they won’t be able to keep that going. Also, their first team isn’t made up of much of their youth system.

I actually did think that they approached Morrison so it’s exactly what I assumed. The only way anyone in their board could know where Morrison was going is if Hamilton were in talks with him. It’s not the first time they’ve done this with one of our players, tried it with Arfield years ago. I do find it odd that we can have almost 3x the fanbase of Hamilton and they somehow can attempt to steal one of our players. I don’t think Hamilton’s team is as strong as they think, these new signings will need to be a huge improvement on what they already have to offer any proper title challenge now.

It would be disappointing to lose Morrison but I don’t think it would be a disaster. I think Ethan Ross could do very well if he had to step in and we also have Agyeman as an option.

Tbf to McGlynn his recruitment has been excellent. There’s only 2 or 3 players in that list who haven’t been good for us.

There’s nothing more I enjoy than seeing how “the club like no other” react when they lose. It’s always comedy gold and extremely satisfying. Also like how they throw their own under the bus when things go against them. I’m looking forward to all the anti Brendan stuff.

I liked it when their fans were all enjoying goading us with their goal only to be silenced three minutes later by Miller, you can see that burned them inside. Things you love to see.

Thought it was a nice touch from our players to celebrate the second goal in front of those fuds in the main stand. I couldn’t make out who went right up to them but got the desired reaction.

Guess European football isn’t for everyone

It’s hard to not be paranoid as a Falkirk fan, we have always been shafted by the SFA; denying us promotion on numerous occasions etc. That refereeing performance was disgraceful and it’s hard to argue that he was unbiased in his decision making. It looked very much like he tried to have Falkirk drop points today. There has to be some proper look at what he did today.

I think the decision to ban plastic pitches in the premiership would not benefit the majority of Scottish clubs. As usual, the decision would be made just to benefit the bigot brothers. If the Old Firm are so desperate to get rid of Astro then they should maybe look at what the top clubs in Holland do. Those clubs use their money from European football to support smaller clubs in the Eredivise to ensure they can afford grass pitches.
