Well said. I’m very much pro-union but I had some respect for Salmond. He was credible as a politician and didn’t have ludicrous woke agendas. He was likeable. The SNP has completely changed over the last 9-years and has a very dislikable contingent which has made Scotland the laughing stock of Europe.

I have to admire wee Nicola standing up for woman’s rights when she can’t define a woman and she was willing to put a rapist in a women’s prison. She also states she “doesn’t remember” a conversation where women spoke to her about being sexually assaulted by Salmond. Definitely a woman with integrity!

There’s a major difference! We didn’t know what we were getting with any of the players I listed. We know the standard of the guys we have signed, all of which have done the merry-go-round in Scottish football.

Where did I say about knowing these guys would be good before they started? The point I’m making is that they were good signings, didn’t mention anything about what they were before playing with us.

SPL years were good. Even when we were relegated we brought players like Taylor, Farid, Vaulks, Leahy. We sold players like David Weatherston because he was considered not quite good enough, my god he’d look world class compared to what we’ve had for the last 5-years.

Well I remember a time where our recruitment was genuinely fantastic, I certainly didn’t moan back then.

It could only be a Falkirk fanbase that thinks this has been a positive summer for recruitment. Signing guys that Raith and Hamilton aren’t bothered about losing us not good.

Well I was asked to wait till the new signings came in before making judgments on the squad, well my opinion is the same. Pretty underwhelming signings made by by McClown. I just have a sense of deja vu coming, we get to Christmas and say we need another clear out and probably a new manager.

I’d have thought John McClown might’ve signed Kevin O’Hara now he’s released.

Well the 6 or so players we’re going to bring in are going to have to be very good to make up for how weak the squad is at the moment, that’s the issue.

Because the players we’ve brought in are nothing special, and the players we’ve retained are mostly crap.

I think we’re desperately going to miss Kai Kennedy, he was the only player capable of creating chances and beating players. He scored a few as well. This team so far looks as bad as last season so don’t expect much.

You’re missing the point, we know what we’re getting with Maciver so no point speculating to what level he’ll reach with us. He’s also 24, not 18. I’m also not just talking about this signing. Some fans were saying the same stuff when we signed Gary Holt’s son, a boy who was never ever going to be close to full-time. Our fans have complete false optimism with signings that are underwhelming to rotten.

This “give the boy a chance, he’s not put the jersey on yet” doesn’t really work. If a guy turned up to Falkirk who’d spent 10 years at the Shire and was released for not being good enough, then I wouldn’t need to wait to see how they play for Falkirk to know he’s way off the mark.

No it’s not the same. Vaulks, Leahy, Taylor and Farid had never played in Scotland before joining so we didn’t know what to expect. Maciver has been average at best for a number of years in Scotland so we know exactly what we’re getting.

Well Dunfermline recruited pretty well up front last season. The players they released like O’Hara and Todorov are way better than what we have currently. Buying a guy who Alloa aren’t even that fussed to lose doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence.

Well I don’t know about you but that signing today has got me over excited to say the least! We’re definitely on course to win the league by a canter, at least 80 points. Going to get my season ticket!

If we start next season with draws and rotten performances McGlynn will come under real pressure quickly. I’m concerned that it may be competitive next year, QoS and Cove could be strong. However, it shouldn’t matter if they are good teams, a strong team in league 1 should still be beaten by Falkirk.

Partick looked really good tonight, no shame on Ayr for losing that. Ayr are punching above their weight being in the playoffs so it’s great for them just to be involved at this stage.

I love you miserable sods. I wonder what’s so intolerable about mentioning an ex-player doing well. Especially one who was exceptional for us.
