Totally agree, I have played in teams that strolled in preseason games then started the season poorly and then had the totally opposite when having a poor preseason. It's really all about people getting to know each other , if a few new signings, and getting match fitness back up to scratch after few weeks off. But I can understand why fans like to see wins right away , Tucker is a wily old soul and I'm sure Talbot will have a major say in how the season goes this season as normal. on McMillan he's a lovely big lad, never really seen much of him football wise but he was out injured a long time so I hope the move works out for him

Yes fair point, I always wondered why they created a new club in East Kilbride rather than developing the junior team, which as you say had a fan base, prime town centre site and was in need of investment! We're Thistle not open to it maybe?
