  1. At least the activities of the last few days seem to have scared the shit out of hearts who have now settled all debts with HMRC.
  2. I haven't argued against your comments regarding Smith & McGowan. Not sure why you chose to repost that - other than to try to cover up the lie immediately before it. I presume they've taken shares in return for soft loans to artificially reduce the amount of debt. Its irrelavent any way as either way they will see absolutley no return for their money.
  3. Which Hutton voted against. Are they really?A bundle of shares that are worth f**k all will return, at best, f**k all. Unless you think that we're likely to bounce back, become European champs and be a club that everyone's desperate to invest in - within Turnbull & Marios lifetime?
  4. 1. We're full time because thats what McGlynn wanted. 2. We're a poor team which, with the exception of Davison, are all McGlynns picks, and 3. Crowds are down due to McGlynns brutal tactics and lack of any tactical awareness The board have continually pumped their own cash into the club to keep us afloat and they should be applauded for that. For example, the main stand is only open because TH personally paid for repars to the roof. I know where I think the blame lies for our increased costs and our decreased income. The boards contribution to our current situation is in investing too much faith in a guy who is currently failing on almost every level.
  5. Jeeezzo!. And I thought Mrs P&B is a Disgrace's family were complicated.
  6. How come Dot Cottons sisters son is also called Cotton?
  7. The Grey Its hard to say that I enjoyed this - but i give it an 8 out of 10. I dont think its the sort of movie you can enjoy. Its bleak as hell and potentially fairly depressing - but exciting as f**k at the same time. I spent most of the latter part of the film bracing myself for a fucking big wolf jumping in and making me crap myself - and the one time I switched off it happened and I shamelessly squealed in public! The development of relationships of the survivors is superb and to that extent it reminded me a bit of Deliverance - only with wolves instead of hillbillies.
  8. Personally, I don't do it. But Alan Walker has chosen to work in that profession, and this sort of stuff goes with the role. He represents the club both on and off the field and is paid to ignore these idiots. Plenty of professional people have similar challenges, For example, Mrs P&B is a Disgrace is a nurse and has to put up with abuse from patients almost daily. If she swore back or challenged a patient to a square go in the hospital car park she'd be disciplined - and quite rightly so. What makes footballers a special case? They should be subject to the same set of standards that is expected of any other employee. For me, that includes disciplinary action for poor performance and Walker certainly needs some, er....."additional support" in that regard.
  9. Thats possibly one of the most rediculous posts I've read on here. Are you really suggesting that you think its OK during a game for an employee of a football club to challenge customers to a fight in the car park?
  10. Most keepers can play to a decent level to their late 30's. Its absurd to say that a 31 year old keeper is nearing the end of their career. The Messi point is a moot one. You know exactly what I mean. Our strikers are not to blame for our current situation and bringing DC into the squad will not change that. But good luck to him - I hope I'm wrong.
  11. We can bring as many poacher types ( and of the best quality ) to Starks Park as we want - but without service they wont score. Even a very creative player would struggle to score as they'd need to do everything them selves. So, on reflection, I think you actually meant to say that you agree with me. Right?
  12. Eh, how about the lack of service they are going to get? Messi couldn't score for us with our midfield and tactics at home. I'm worried that Dunfermline are coming for Davie McGurn to solve their goalkeeping crisis. That would be us really screwed.
  13. Agreed - but its really put the buffers on my fishing expedition.
  14. We should be a mid table club. I'd settle for being where we are if I was being entertained for my 17 quid.......even just occassionally. But this is brutal to watch - it reminds me of the Heatherston days. The number of players we have is down to his decision. The standard of players we have are down to his decisions. Playing players out of their natural position is his decision. The tactics are his. The stubborn pursual of tactics which do not work is down to him. The lack of any consistent line up or formation is down to him. Training, or the apparent complete lack of it, is down to him ( some of the stuff we witnessed on Saturday was no better than schoolboy football ). The insane expectation that if we do exactly the same thing in the next game there will be a different outcome is his. Playing certain players no matter how off form they are is down to him. 11 players in our own box at every corner inviting constant pressure, yet teams still get several free headers every game. Not giving our own youth players a chance........ Bringing kids on loan from other clubs - and then either not giving them a chance, or droping them when they appear to everyone else to be doing better than our own bunch on non-triers...... Stop making excuses for him. There are none any more. Better still. I've given a dozen negatives, that we are forced to watch every week - but can you name 3 positive things that Johns done in the last 12 months?
  15. The million dollar question is...... After Pat Clarkes decent debut, how many games will it take for him to be "McGlynned" I reckon we'll get 2 more displays where he's full of energy & commitment, then he'll blend in with the other dross. Is McGlynn really this incompitent - or has he just lost the dressing room?
  16. Fixed it for you. Not looking forward to todays game. If Dundee are up for it today, I reckon we could get a severe doing.
  17. On field problems and dwindling crowds are down to one thing and thats piss poor tactics and continually playing players out of position. OK 2 things. On field problems and dwindling crowds are down to 2 things (..........wheres Michael Palin? ). Most of our first team pros were part of the squad last season that over achieved and ran Dunfermline close for the title. We've brought some of the best teenagers in the SPL to the club - players who Hearts fans really rate. They all have looked very capable. Yet they've fitted right in with the rest of our dross - with the exception of the Hamilton game ie before they were "McGlynn-ised". The only things that have changed are our managers unwillingness to try something different and to persevere with the same tactics - expecting there to be a different result. He's either lost it - or he never really had it in the first place.
  18. I also heard that Terence turns out to be Roly & Freda's love child. And that the reason Gengis left was that he's had a homosexual affair with Wellard which damaged his little Willy.
