Sorry, bud. I have tried but these things tend to degenerate into nonsense. That post above was made in the midst of dealing with a particularly unsatisfactory digression.
My apologies to all who I have offended. I do have a very unattractive tendency to condescension and sarcasm when I'm irritated. It's a fair cop.
I'll give you a greenie for your humility & candour. Its been entertaining during a dull day. PMS

A company is about to be liquidated, not the club. After that company is liquidated the new company is likely to take over its name.
It was the club, though, who allegedly used illegally registered players and who allegedly paid player through an incorrectly structured EBT scheme.
So, if ( as bears claim ) there's continuity of the club - then they still need to face up to those issues.

And as for this bit, I wonder if Sally managed to keep a straight face:
"Operating with an embargo on an already depleted first team squad - even with a window to sign players - will make the task ahead an extremely difficult one."
They are going to be playing in the 3rd division. Their team will contain some internationalists and some talented youngsters. They will be the only full-time team. Elbows McCulloch will actually look like a talented footballer for one season. IMO, they will win at least 75% of their matches and yet Sally is bleating about it being "extremely difficult". Extremely difficult is like climbing Mount Everest, or pulling a supermodel, or admiring Neil Lennon. Only someone so spoiled & unappreciative of what they have in comparison to others could make such a ridiculous statement.
According to their website, they have over 40 registered full time players and a backroom staff of 11 ( also full time ).
He is indeed a c**t of the highest order and I hope he gets a right dose of the shits from a dodgy Greggs steak bake.

Idiotic stuff from McCoist, playing to the gallery. He knows the score fine on what's a punishment and what's a consequence of liquidation, but seems happy to rile up the club's loonier supporters.
Pretty shameful stuff, but hardly unexpected. Clearly, feeding the RFC supporters' unwarranted victim complex has been his first priority throughout.
Lets hope he gets what comming to him from the investigation into his outbursts. And yes, Ally - that will be a punishment.!

Plot thickens
Unbelievable.
if they believe this is unlawful they should take court action - which they will lose and have to pay court costs.

Anyone else fancy seeing Reece Donaldson at left back?
I'd like to see him get half an hour a left mid today. He can only be an improvement on Joe

In my eyes it's the same club if they transfer over the existing SFA membership, taking the sanctions in the process... I don't see how you can say they've the same membership, and carry the negative history (punishable behaviour), yet not carry the positive history (honours etc.).
Others will disagree, I'm sure. Others will cite Leeds/Clachnacuddin/etc. Others still will desire no continuity whatsoever.
My preference would have been that no punishments carry over and the history dies. That would give the new club a decent shout at establishing itself while simultaneously trying to wipe out the fan behaviours that need to change.
That won't happen now,

a business which has been bought as a going concern by someone not associated with the original failed company.
I believe there is some doubt about that.

Let's say it was Motherwell, or Dundee or St. Mirren who had committed these financial sins - would there really have been such an appetitie for their absolute destruction?
There wouldn't need to be as that would just have happened as a matter of course.

Just got back from the Headbangers' Convention that is RM. Can't believe I've lasted so long over there. It really is hard work spouting out shit on a daily basis just to keep up with the numbskulls. However, with a reputation of +50 I should be able to keep going a bit longer. How are other infiltrators doing?
I got banned after about 4 posts - just because I didn't make any anti-catholic comments or threaten to kill anyone.

There is an infinite number of ridiculous statements to play with "If they play on the streets, then we shall follow from the pavements....until police forbid it due to the safety risks involved". I saw someone on facebook with the whole shite about streets/pavement, yet her nor any of her family have ever been to Ibrox.
 thats from the thread that got me banned.

Umm ok if they are gonna make tuped non playing staff redundant ...where's the cash toto pay fone the reduncancy payments?? Some of these guys will have years of service in the bag. Plus how will the business operate without these staff? Presumably most if not all are operationally vital to the infrastructure at ibrox and MP? Does this impact their safety certificate, risk assessments, insurance, health safety policies, evacuation and security procedures?? I rather think the four or five mingy bigot junior teams is on once the death becomes officil and the orchestra infighting really kicks off
Exactly. Another great move by the genius businessman Green. He could have punted them all for the square root of f**k all but was hell bent on "proving" that his understanding of TUPE regs was correct.
What a fucking numbskull.

Social Unrest?
I've got provocatively clad Chinese ladies, maybe 20 to 25 years old, strutting about outside my apartment wearing t-shits and shorts, letting my imagination come to terms where all their bumps and curves are......
I should go and get my camera and share with you. These young ladies really should be more considerate, I think.....
That's my one and only "Disgusted of Camberley = Sex Pistols Bill Grundy incident" post on this forum.....
Go get that fucking camera!

Honestly can't believe I'ld never heard of Turnbull Hutton before he told the currants to do one, the guy's become a legend and the more you read of him 'telling it as it is' the more you have to admire him.
He's always said exactly what he thinks - and its not always been popular with some of our fans. But I don't think he's ever not be right on the money ( ..... cue a series of Rovers fans proving me wrong! )

If the Yorkshire Connection tries anything dodgy on Monday
One positive from yesterday is that Green & McCoist are now showing a level of acceptance & contrition that they should have shown from the start. I firmly believe that if they had been saying these things all along then the fans backlash would have been minimised and they would still be in the SPL.
Thanks Greeno. Thanks Fatboy.
