  1. Dowds POTY Stanger YPOTY Stuck between Chalmers v Raith and Murphy v Dundee Utd for goal of the season though.
  2. Walton McMillan Gallagher Holt McMann Fotheringham Docherty Stanton Easton Paton Moult Honorable Mentions: Dabrowski, Vaughan, Milne, Graham, Dowds, Chalmers No Airdrie players in here despite some picks for Frizzell and Megwa. Neither have looked up to much when they played against us. Put Paton in ahead of Graham as 16 goals in a poorer team is more impressive.
  3. No he didn't. He hasn't played a single minute for us. Think he got about 45 mins in a reserve game but that's it.
  4. ICT 1-1 Raith Arbroath 1-2 Morton Dundee Utd 3-1 Ayr Dunfermline 2-1 QP Partick 3-2 Airdrie
  5. He signed a two year extension last summer so is under contract until 2025. As for the talk about Chalmers I would definitely try to get him permanently this summer but he's definitely not worth breaking the bank for. If his demands are too much just move on.
  6. Ayr beat Arbroath on Saturday Queens Park beat Inverness on Saturday Raith beat Inverness next Friday Leaves Ayr P33 on 42 points Leaves Inverness P34 on 35 points We'd therefore be safe as we would be 7 clear of them with them only having 6 more points to play for.
  7. Morton 1-3 Dundee Utd Airdrie 3-2 Dunfermline Ayr 2-1 Arbroath Queens Park 1-0 Inverness Raith 2-2 Partick
  8. Most likely yes. Will probably be announced later today or tomorrow.
  9. A win here plus another for us would most likely see us safe. Would take a draw though provided we win on Saturday. Clarke Stanger Sanders McGinty McAllister Chalmers Dempsey Smith Murphy Dowds Willoughby If no one is back from injury for us we should hopefully put out something like this, although hopefully one of Syla and McHugh is OK.
  10. If we win vs Arbroath and draw vs Morton (most likely outcome) we'll have 42 points. If Queens beat Inverness next week QP will be on 41 and Inverness on 35. If Inverness lose vs Raith on Friday 19th we'd be safe. Only difference between this and what I said earlier is that if we won both games Inverness would have to win vs Raith to overtake us, while if we got 4 from 6 a draw vs Raith would put them 6 behind us with 2 for Inverness to play. We'd have to get at least a point at Tannadice the next day to confirm safety.
  11. If we beat Morton and Arbroath and if Inverness lose to Queens Park next week, then if Inverness fail to beat Raith on the Friday night before our game vs Dundee Utd we’ll be safe.
  12. Massive overreaction to this imo. Yes McAllister probably isn't good enough to start week in week out but he can cover numerous positions, won't be on a big wage, and provides a bit of continuity going into next season. We can't go into a new season with a completely new squad and he's performed fine for the most part since Brown has come in. I'm confident we'll sign a right back in the summer and that there will be plenty more changes in that time. Of course if it's the day before the league starts and we're no closer to another right back coming in then feel free to complain as I do think we need an upgrade there but for now its a major overreaction.
  13. Would take a draw here as that plus 2 wins would most likely see us safe. Can't see us getting a win at all. If Dempsey is back I'd consider putting him in the team and going 3 in the middle to get a bit more control of the game. Clarke Stanger Sanders* McGinty McAllister Dempsey Syla McHugh Bryden Dowds Murphy Fingers crossed Frankie is back too, can't bear another week of Sanders playing.
  14. Hopefully Fanbase are the new ticketing partner. Have used it at Morton, Raith, and Inverness this season and it's far better than any other platform.
  15. Airdrie 1-2 Morton Dunfermline 2-0 Partick ICT 0-0 Arbroath QP 0-1 Dundee Utd Raith 2-2 Ayr
  16. Did the club not put out an advert in the summer for a new board member who had media experience? Ultimately if you run on volunteers and uni students you're limited with what you can do, but I honestly think a bit of investment in that area would go a long way in making the club look far more professional.
  17. Looking back, every season bar last has felt like there has been 1 clear candidate to win the league. 23/24 - Dundee Utd 22/23 - Dundee, nowhere near as clear cut as the others though 21/22 - Kilmarnock 20/21 - Hearts 19/20 - Dundee Utd 18/19 - Ross County Next season looks like it could be the first time since we've been here as a full time side that there's no real favourite. Livingston seem to be in freefall while Falkirk look quite strong. If Raith don't go up this season they'll also have a bit of money to throw at it. Hopefully we can get over the line now and start planning for next season as if we can build a decent squad there's no reason why we can't go for top 4. Of course a lot can happen between now and June but things are definitely looking positive.
  18. We were shooting that way when we beat Partick which was Brown's first home win so maybe he's a bit superstitious
  19. A benefit of this is that it allows us to start planning for next season sooner than other teams. Raith have seen the benefits of this as last year their season was done with a few weeks to go while everyone else in the division still had something to play for, they started planning early on and were able to get players to agree PCAs and get business going sooner than everyone else. Meanwhile we only had a few weeks between the play offs and pre season which left us scrambling about for new players. Sooner we get over the line the better and we can hopefully get a head start on teams around us. Like you said there really isn't a lot between the majority of sides at this level so this could make the difference this time next year. If we get over the line and back Brown in the summer I could see us being a competitive outfit next season.
  20. Beat Arbroath and Morton and that would probably be enough but could see us picking up a few more. No reason why we can't get something vs Raith, Dundee United and Partick. As long as we're safe with a few games to go I'll take it.
  21. Going from the warm up it’s a back 4 with McAllister at left back and Stanger at right back
  22. Gordon Souttar Hendry Tierney Patterson McTominay Gilmour Robertson Ferguson McGinn Shankland Hopefully a comfortable win to get a bit of confidence back. 3-1 Scotland.
  23. I'm fairly certain that McAllister, Murdoch, and Amartey all have options for an extra year.
