  1. Gordon Souttar Hendry Tierney Patterson McTominay Gilmour Robertson Ferguson McGinn Shankland Hopefully a comfortable win to get a bit of confidence back. 3-1 Scotland.
  2. I'm fairly certain that McAllister, Murdoch, and Amartey all have options for an extra year.
  3. Also the situation with injuries is an absolute joke, relying on knowing people who are ITK and scraps of info from the Ayrshire Post to even have a faint idea of who is available makes it hard to justify turning up on a Saturday. Reading is out for the rest of the season - nothing from the club. Musonda gets injured on international duty - again nothing. No mention about Dempsey or Chalmers. All this due to believing it stops the opposition from giving us an advantage when people from other clubs will no doubt read here or elsewhere to find out injury news if they get nothing from he club. It offers no advantage and makes the matchday experience as a fan less enjoyable.
  4. If Musonda and McGinley are out injured then going forward I'd like to see us move to a back 3, something like: Clarke Stanger Sanders McGinty Tomlinson Smith McHugh Syla Murphy Dowds Bryden Yesterday ultimately showed that the squad simply isn't good enough. If we can beat Airdrie, Arbroath and Morton and then maybe get draws away at Dundee Utd and Partick then that should be enough for 8th which at this point I'd take. Hoping for a massive clearout this summer, would only keep about 5-6 out of the team yesterday.
  5. Ayr 3-2 Airdrie Arbroath 0-2 Dunfermline Dundee Utd 0-1 Raith Morton 1-2 QP Partick 3-1 ICT
  6. I think that result has exposed a real lack of quality in defence beyond the regular back 5 of Robertson-Tierney-Hendry-Porteous-Hickey. Patterson was poor tonight as was Souttar when he came on. Ralston simply isn't Scotland quality. If Hickey isn't fit for June and if there are any other injuries in defence then I'd be seriously worried for us at the Euros
  7. Arbroath 1-3 Partick Ayr 1-1 QP Dundee Utd 1-0 Inverness Morton 1-2 Dunfermline
  8. Last time I felt a feeling like that after looking at the lineup was in Duffy's last game v Queen of the South. Had just arrived, checked the team, and almost wanted to just head straight back up the road. Got skelped 3 going on 7 nil. Thankfully I haven't made the journey up today. Feeling sorry for anyone who has as I wouldn't be surprised at a similar result today.
  9. The way the team is listed makes me think it may be Bryden and McKenzie wide with Sanders at LB.
  10. I have no issue with dropping players if they've been underperforming but this is taking it too far. We simply have to put our best players on the park.
  11. Dunfermline 1-2 Dundee Utd Airdrie 3-1 Arbroath Inverness 2-2 Ayr Partick 2-3 Morton QP 2-2 Raith
  12. Results for us today were fine. If Dundee United do us a favour on Friday then even a point at Inverness wouldn't be that bad if we can follow that up with good results vs Queens Park and Airdrie. After March I can see us maybe getting results vs Morton and Partick, and if we can beat Arbroath and Dunfermline as well then that should be enough to stay up.
  13. Get a result here and things are looking positive for us, lose and we could be 9th. I have absolutely no idea what will happen. Clarke McAllister Stanger McGinty McGinley Chalmers Dempsey McHugh Murphy Willoughby Dowds Would play McGinley here if possible, we can't continue with Frankie at left back.
  14. Tommy Conway scored for Bristol City tonight vs Ipswich. Should he be called up for the March friendlies and maybe give him 45 minutes vs Northern Ireland, or is it too soon for him?
  15. Dundee United 2-1 Arbroath ICT 1-1 Airdrie QP 2-3 Partick Raith 2-1 Dunfermline
  16. We're decent going forward at times (not today of course) which has been able to drag us through games but our defense is so soft. We give away a cheap goal or two every game. Not much Brown can do about that and while we've without a doubt improved under him I worry that failing to properly address the issues in defense, both in the summer and in January, will see this go right to the wire for us. Still fairly confident we'll finish about 7th although I'd take 8th.
  17. Massive reality check today but no reason to start panicking. First time under Brown where it looked like we didn't have a plan or look cohesive as a unit, marginally better in the second but still nowhere near good enough. I said we should be looking at 9 points from 12 in March and there's no reason we can't do that. That would see us on 41 points, pick up a few more in April and we should be fine. Hopefully going forward Stanger will come back in for Sanders and the Musonda experiment ends, although that's dependent on McGinley being decent. Hopefully he can get some minutes with the reserves between now and the Inverness game.
  18. Clarke McAllister Sanders McGinty Musonda Bryden Dempsey McHugh Murphy Willoughby Dowds Harsh on McKenzie after a good performance from him on Tuesday but it gets Dowds and Willoughby in the team together and I think they could link up well.
  19. Heard Reading is out for 8 weeks so hopefully McGinley is a good signing, I think he’ll do a job for us although I’d stick with Musonda at LB tomorrow.
  20. Arbroath 0-3 Raith Airdrie 2-2 Queens Park Dunfermline 1-3 Ayr Morton 4-0 ICT Partick 2-4 Dundee Utd
