The Worst Musical Act of All-Time: Lifetime Achievement
Home Truths replied to BFTD's topic in The Music Forum
I took my daughter to see Mitski last week at the Usher Hall. She was thrilled and I have to say I didn't dislike the show her favourite put on. However, the warm up act was a portly Geordie called Richard Dawson. His thing is freak folk or some similar gibberish. You know? Songs from the point of view of *insert absolute nonsense here* and so on. I give you... I thought he was earth-shatteringly shite to the point where I thought his out of tune guitar playing and exaggerated playing style was a piss-take of rock guitarists. Folk were lapping it up too but lordy he wasn't for me. -
SNP leadership always did look quite bare after Salmond and Sturgeon.

Wee Hosler administered that baw abreast the onion bag with APLOMB. Hamilton should be subbed at HT. He's gonna be sent off.

That Raith pitch is garbage. It looks like ther are little ridges all the way across it. -

Mehmet palming the ball back into the middle of the box for the goal. I don't like to criticise the guy but he is a pish keeper. Pars were doing okay until then. -
Good luck to the people of Rochdale. Gorgeous George had a marginally better attendance record at Westminster last time than Sinn Fein (who don't sit) and a few absent MPs (who were unfortunately dead) so there's that. I find it bewildering that a wee man from Dundee has such venom towards Israel. Gaza might as well be the moon to the average Dundonian. How did he get so het up about it?

I've seen and heard people moaning about the investment in new training facilities. There are fans who don't see the value in the club having good training facilities. -

Surely the clubs medical acumen has moved on from using leeches and trepanning players heids? Surely? -

He did well. He's definitely an improvement. It was a poor game yesterday on a terrible pitch. The performance was a razor thin improvement on the Morton game which I saw and I presume the Queens game which I didn't. They worked harder and that's a start. -

As a club, even with injuries, should we not be doing better at home to Arbroath with all due respect? Or doing better against Morton and Queens Park? -
I'm most interested in seeing Furiosa this year. IMO Mad Max: Fury Road was the best action movie ever made. This one will have it's work cut out to be as good but George Miller is helming again so every chance it will be. The trailer is being panned a bit for being CGI-heavy. I remain unperturbed, it'll be a blast.

I tried it on release and stopped playing very quickly with a view to checking it out again in several months. I found it quite boring and the user interface was clunky as all hell. It didn't hit the mark for me and I kept thinking that I'd rather Bethesda had put the effort into another Fallout game.
