Never change, Deniz Mehmet, never change.

A lot of honourable mentions but has to be McTominay. Pretty scandalous that Hickey isn't on there but he'll win a few of these over the next 10 years.

Murray’s in-game management deserves a lot of credit, I feel that’s still an area where Doolan could do with improving on at times.
I take it Bannigan was properly unavailable to come on unless needs must tonight because the game was crying out for him at HT imo, given we couldn’t string a pass together for about 40 minutes. Feel Doolan still left the first round of subs a bit late, but understand that given we’d really got into a flow and were on top he probably didn’t want to disrupt that.
Don't disagree with the praise of Murray (and that Doolan could work on this) but Murray has considerably more to work with than Doolan off the bench. Our subs were hopeless when they came on. Raith third was top class from Smith, need a bit more nous though for the fourth, that's why you kick the ball away.

Do you know what categories are left for Hungary? Is it just Cat 1?
Yeah.

Thanks. I guess not a massive surprise that the middle one goes first. It's the one where most people are definitely in Germany. I fully expect Hungary to sell out tonight or tomorrow, thereby confirming that barring any "lottery win" on the general sale tickets, I'm not going to either. It does make the decision easier to make if I get a chance of Cat 1 for Germany though..........
Hungary not sold out yet (I thought it would have) and still Cat 1 and 2 for Germany.

Update : Switzerland game appears to be sold out, Hungary only Cat 1 left. Germany still Cat 2 and 1.

As things stand still category 2 and 1 available for each game.

Going through all the events mentioned in the OP only makes you interesting if people are interested. Everything Livi have gone through nobody outside the club ever cared. Rangers probably do have a strong claim given their ongoing penchant for disaster, but my choice would be Hearts - good sized club, ups and downs, good location, good rivalry, great stadium, all sorts of shenanigans over the years.

Explains a lot.

The North British Daily Mail? Grim.

Whoever we got out of pot 1 was largely an irrelevance, take a good team and they'll gub everyone in the group, a poor team is vulnerable to everyone in the group. I think Hungary are the toughest or second toughest pot 2 side and Switzerland the second toughest pot 4 side, I think in any other group we'd be favourites for third at least but not in this one.

Because we're small and insignificant in UK terms (and England games are free to air).

Some people seriously showing themselves up here by being so confounded by the idea that people might want to help others with no ulterior motive.

Seems we'll have a fight on our hands to qualify from whatever group we get - even as one of the 4 best third place teams. All other things being equal im expecting we'll have to be close to our max performance levels for at least two of the games, maybe three.
I don't see why. We're better than everyone in pot 4 right now bar Italy. We're better than most teams in pot 2. In almost all draw permutations this Scotland team should be making R16.

Have friendlies been counted in the totals? Caps have only recently (last couple of decades) counted for friendlies and they definitely weren't in Dalgleesh's (up ye MT ) and Law's career. I'm wondering if their goals were too.
Dalglish's totals did include friendlies (including the Maradona match at Hampden in 79). Not sure if/when friendlies didn't count for international caps, would be interested to know, paging @craigkillie

Early goal followed by 85 minutes of Austria v West Germany please.

The two messages relating to Kim Bo-Kyung are the only two the Daily Mail attribute to Mackay. I think it's safe to say if any of the others came from him the DM would have attributed them too.

I believe that there was an anti semitic text about a Jewish agent, a misogynistic text about a female agent, a racist text about a group of potential signings, pretty sure there was a homophobic one too.
There were all of those, but none of them were sent by Mackay.

It is.
I believe the only one of the quoted texts actually sent by MM were in relation to the South Korean player.

He also sent homophobic, sexist, and antisemitic messages.
I don't believe this is true.

Ray Bradshaw. He's excellent.
Did Cosgrove use the term window licking this evening?

Celtic v Rangers
Thistle v Hibs
Will these be neutral venue ties? If so where are they likely to be?

We turned over Georgia at home no bother, we turned over Cyprus away no bother.
It's not a guaranteed 3 points, but even with the injuries we have that starting 11 should be beating Georgia away.

Would like to see Brown get a start in one of the two games.

White shorts can be OK if a) they don't have a shite green specsavers logo on them b) the socks are red.
Jakubiak is never in a million years a lone striker. He has his uses wide in a front 3 or as a secondary striker to a Graham type but they're few and far between.
