Steven Lawless got a 2 game ban for betting on 500 odd games. Trippier was given 10 games for notifying people of his impending move so that they could put money on it. Unless Toney has been betting against his own team at any point, this ban is absolutely ludicrous and shameful. Trippier's behaviour is essentially what landed Kane Hester in court this year.

Would pretty much agree with every word of this. Sneddon is a better goalkeeper than Mitchell by a distance but is unlikely to come back in now. Only thing I would say is that I think Ayr have been better than anyone in the league at stifling our attacking flair, they're the only team in the league that we've not had a prolonged spell of dominating in any of our games this season. Have the fear that they have our number in that regard but we've built a nice bit of momentum after a slightly slow end to the season.

I've not watched it back but Bannigan was injured in the buildup which was probably a factor. Same applies wrt Thomas for the third though. On Bannigan, not arrogance as it's going to be tight on Friday but I'd rather err on the side of caution, the objective is promotion and there are 2 more hurdles potentially after Friday so possibly better to gamble and keep Bannigan fresh, especially on the plastic.
