  1. Can the mighty Bairns overcome the plucky Binos and leapfrog them in the league table. All the pressure on Falkirk, I'll settle for a point but wouldn't surprise me if we grind out a 1-0 win and go five clear of them. How have you been playing so far this season Falkirk fans?
  2. Amazing start from the team this year. To carry it over from last season to the league cup group and then to the league games is some feat I suspect our run comes to an end as we negotiate three tricky fixtures coming up. East Kilbride - On one hand I want to keep the good run going but on the other I'm thinking just to throw out the young players. I expect it will be a mix of youngsters and the likes of Cooper, Banner, Spence etc. EK thumped someone again today. Will be hard game even with our first team playing. Aberdeen - We are expected to lose and we probably will but I hope the players go out and put up a fight and make Aberdeen work for it. A sell out crowd and hopefully a great game. Falkirk - Away to the bairns is as tough as it will be in this league. Would happily take a point but on the run we are on and with this team I genuinely believe we are capable of grinding out a result. As an ultimate pessimist, I can also easily see us losing all three games
  3. Hows the game so far? Anyone edging it? Hard to tell from the twitter updates from the clubs Hopefully a decent crowd made it through
  4. I remember 4-0 at half time thinking that this was our chance to get our own back and being gutted at only scoring the one in the second half. Was that the season Marek Tomana was outrageous for the first six months before teams cottoned on and started booting him about? Whi the f**k was Malseed? Don't remember him at all.
  5. I do remember a smashing 4-4 draw at the recs I think the following season. Was looking for some more details of the game online but coming up blank. All I seem to recall is Kicky Woods scoring a cracking goal right near the endnto either put us ahead or level the game. I remember being behind the goals and going nuts
  6. Does video footage exist of that 7-0 game? If not it didn't happen
  7. Enjoying the media videos @TheWestStand keep up the good work. In the interviews with Darren Young and Creaney, I'm glad you asked "What will Edinburgh bring?" rather than "We play X next week, how do you approach that game?" The former allows him to open up on the question about Edinburgh rather than the latter question which always tends to get the same answer "we approach it as we always do etc etc" Great to see you growing and improving into the role. The real test will come when we are getting humped and you have to ask the awkward questions
  8. My thoughts too now it's on a Friday night. I know Aberdeen have a good travelling support but unsure what that actually means as numbers for a Friday night game. I imagine public transport back from Stirling post game will be an issue too.
  9. He did an interview last month I think, where he said he hadn't decided yet. It said in same article that Steve Clarke had tried to call him up to the full squad but he had turned it down. Not decided yet is the polite media way of saying he doesn't want to rule out an England call up first as that's his priority.
  10. No, we left our top scorer Dale Carrick on the bench as well as Kyle Banner who usually starts in defensive midfield. Our back up keeper and a couple others were in team for rotation as well. The full strength team will be out next week for league opener vs Edinburgh
  11. Are we (Stirling) playing well or have you guys imploded? Is there a radio commentary for your games at all?
  12. What sort of team are you guys likely to put out on Saturday against us? A youth/reserve team? Full strength? Mixture?
  13. On these showings, Cowdenbeath should be right up there as 3rd or 4th favourites for the league.
  14. Stirling could go through on 8 points as group winners if Ayr lose to Alloa But aye think both teams are looking to get 9 points to be qualifying in 2nd place
  15. I'll let someone cleverer than me do all the maths and outcomes but what do Stirling/Ayr need to qualify? Can either go through on 8 points in second place?
  16. Dale Hilson again heavily involved in the second goal and making a nuisance of himself, been very impressed with him so far. Well done to @TheWestStand for the highlights and taking the feedback on board about the intro. Loved that the video started straight into the teams coming out. Top stuff Manager saying after match McGeachie is out for a month with a toe injury, Josh Cooper back soon and seemed to hint here is money there in budget for new players but only if the right player comes up - I don't think he is actively looking for any particular position
  17. How were attendances today for opening game of the season?
  18. Buzzing with the start to the season so far. Confidence still running high.
  19. Would be interested to hear about loan signings or potential loan signings. Is that something that is holding off until season has started to see what he needs or is he actively pursuing and talking to clubs. Also we are seeing alot of the youth players in and around the squad, who has impressed him the most so far and who does he see making the step up this season?
