Evening all. I'm interviewing Darren Young soon for my podcast "Today Wheelenterview" (which you can all preview on Spotify and Youtube :]) and I wanted to get yourselves involved. I recently had the pleasure of Stuart Hunter, manager of Bo'ness, on the show and I asked the BU supporters for their questions and views. Worked a charm for a nice wee fun ending to a really insightful show.

So, is there anything you guys would like me to ask Darren next week on the show? Can be as serious or silly as you like, or the mention of a funny story, anything you fancy! Very happy to share it here when it's up, and I hope you'll enjoy it when it's out!

We saw a bunch of our under 19s feature for the club pre season and early doors in the campaign, but I think all are now out on loan or back in the under 19s, who should we as fans be excited about breaking through to the first team soon?

It seems a lifetime since we have had a youngster to come through our academy and be excited about as they break into the team.

The real answer may well be "they are all currently shite and not good enough" but if you could get an answer by asking a little more diplomatically than that would be great. There may be a couple of potential superstars in there.

  2. Out on 4th April apparently.

Will NOT be made by Panini for the first time since 1976 as Uefa move to Topps instead for their albums.

No word on price per packet yet, if their Champions League 23/24 ones are anything to go by its £1 for 8 stickers.

Enjoy swapping doubles with the P&B faithful.

Aye, it happened. The young lads round me were thinking did he actually say that. Anyway, I'll be watching him next week - knuckle dragger.

If you know who he is, when you are next at a game I would report him directly to the club and point him out so they can deal with it before it inevitably happens again. Don't wait for him to abuse someone else.

  4. Based on ability alone, he isn't good enough to make the current full strength squad. But neither do I think he is as far off as some seem to think. 2 or 3 midfield absentees and he would be there on current form/merit.

The big question is the attitude and how he has conducted himself previously when in the squads. If its not been great then he could see himself easily moved from 3rd reserve to 5th or 6th reserve

Surprised there hasnt been any official communication from the SSC regarding sell out. There were pretty much daily emails in the lead up to the sale starting. I know there was a post on Twitter because someone linked it here but I'm not on Twitter. The last thing I got was an email telling me they were sorry for the code feck up and would start selling last Thursday instead. I was due to get a code yesterday but never got one obviously with the last standard sale ones sold sunday.

Think that's a bit poor really. Ok, it doesnt really matter but should they not be sticking round an email confirming all sold out and encouraging anyone who didnt get tickets to apply for the UEFA ballot before it closes? Is that asking too much?

You and your lad will be able to get resale tickets no problem for the Scotland games no problem if you are willing to pay.

I suspect you will be able to get them for a couple hundred or under from stubhub and viagogo and places like that even now.

Also when the official resale opens in the new year, will be loads of folk selling their official tickets. Genuinely don't think it will be tough to get a couple of tickets if willing to pay a wee bit.

  6. If you are willing to pay for any of the categories then I genuinely think all the 11 pointers who want one, will get one today as long as you log in bang on 12 and don't fanny about too much.

Wouldn't surprise me if there is still tickets available this evening in most expensive category. May be hope yet for a 10 pointer out there

    Good work.

Much as I like the big lad Hornby, it would be a miraculous second half of the season that saw him get in the squad.

I think if he was to smash in ten goals in Bundesliga between now and March friendlies, I cant see anyone having an issue with him being called up in those games. And by default, anyone called up in those games has a very good chance of making final squad. That's why, I think for our strikers, if one can get some really good form, I think they will be in with best chance of last spot.

Hornby to actually score ten goals though? Miraculous indeed

A lot of fans first gone quick given the percentage posting so soon, going to be some irate elite footsoldiers id imagine

I suspect so. Especially given the average age of those on the highest points are aged 50+ I suspect may not be as quick off the draw on a laptop/phone as some youngsters

    Done!!!!

To save any panicking, I assume when others click in to their "My Tickets" its blank, but you can see it in Order History?

Mine are showing in 'my tickets' but it did take 5 minutes to generate

  10. That was relatively easy and stress free - fans first tickets for all three matches.

Word of warning to 11 pointers - the access codes are one use only then they expire immediately so DONT close your window or log out etc as you won't get back in. After I bought my tickets, I tried to log back in to see if opening game had sold out and got the message that the codes are one use only.

  11. Daily Record running a story today saying Livramento, Gordon and Anderson have no chance of being called up/no interest in declaring.

Harvey Barnes however is open/looking likely

There is no direct quotes though from Clarke which tells me it's an off the record question with an off the record answer

  12. Obviously there is no official stats on it, but the number of people with firesticks (or similar) has increased rapidly over the last 5 years or so.

My back of fag packet maths, has about 50% of people I know between the ages of 20 and 50 have some sort of dodgy streaming device now where they would be able to watch the football.

Now that the services provided, the quality, support given and general ease of them has made them accessible to even the simplest of tech capable folk.

  13. There was a time when he should definitely have merited a call up based on form - when he was at Blackburn and then went on to sign for Fulham. That two or three year spell from 2014 - 2017, he was red hot but for whatever reason was never called up. Think West Ham bid about 18mill for him after his debut season at Fulham.

He eventually got the call up late 2017 I believe but the following season was when he started getting injuries and was in and out the team more as Fulham got into the Premier League and yo-yo'd between that and Championship. He never quite captured that early form imo although has been a solid enough player over the years.
