  1. No, but do it the right way with a bit of humility instead of constant statements about how you should pissing all over the rest of the L1 teams whilst continuing to f**k it all up. Sometimes saying nothing at all is the best way forward.
  2. Falkirk definitely deserving of being mentioned in the same breath as those teams listed. Tremendous content.
  3. Don't kid yourself on. We have been schooling your team of bottle merchants for a few seasons now. If we go up this season someone will step up and replace us. You're a L1 club now. Enjoy your stay.
  4. Ah yeah, I'd forgotten about that gem. Tremendous.
  5. Love your optimism. Your team will need to stop us scoring whilst hunting at least 4 goals themselves. You haven't kept any clean sheets against us all season, it's currently 14-8 to Airdrie on aggregate.
  6. He's been solid for us. We have played to his strengths, he's slow but calm as f*ck. We are a better team with him in it. Something not many Airdrie fans would have said at the start of the season. He was utter tripe with you guys. Funny old game eh?
  7. Our average attendance this year I would imagine would be above 1k, teams like Edinburgh, Kelty and more understandably Peterhead don't bring many through so that hits the numbers significantly. A prolonged spell in L1 has seen our numbers dwindle, assisted by a poor product on the park.
  8. That one stand we half filled hold just shy of 4000. If we half filled that after having attendances down as low as 600 on average a couple of seasons ago we are doing OK. Filling that stand and half another stand with home fans would put us up around 5000. Population of Airdrie is 39000ish. Doesn't sound likely sadly. I agree 100% with your sentiments though. Also agree about the "you let your club die" patter. It's desperate stuff and blatantly untrue aswell, anyone around the club at the time will know what the fans tried to do to save the club.
  9. You might see Frizzell as a winger but he has never played there for us.
  10. I think most Airdrie fans are happy with the football our rookie manager has us playing in his fledgling season. There has clearly been some naivety aswell though, culminating in some honking results but pre Christmas last season we were hovering around in 6th position and were quite inconsistent. After Christmas we really got going ending up 2nd with a decent chance of winning the league. Playoffs was out minimum expectation. We are nearly there now, what happens in the playoffs will be down to bottle and heart. Will be interesting. You guys had to get your act together eventually. Any improvement on last season would have surely been seen as success but you must be disappointed at some of the points dropped, especially against Dunfermline.
  11. We don't have a big enough squad to have the luxury of resting players.
  12. That's probably what's going to happen. We have a terrible record with playoffs. Probably.
  13. Fair enough, like I stated I am merely speculating. Still an odd signing given how it's panned out. Incredible that you paid money for him, £30k if reports are to be believed is ridiculous for a player like Jordan Allan.
  14. I've no idea, someone at board level perhaps? Pure speculation on my ignorant part of course. Like I say, to pay money for the guy then barely let him on the pitch seems a strange one. I'm also not convinced he's the answer to your problems either. He runs about a lot but his hold up play isn't particularly good and I wouldn't say he's got bags of pace either. In saying that, I liked him as an impact sub, he would chase alot of lost causes and that commitment always endears a player to Airdrie fans.
  15. This. He had a full season with us to establish himself and couldn't. Even Jon Afolabi started some games ahead of him and he was utter dugmeat. It seems like a bit of a panic buy. Did Mcglynn even want him?
  16. I think that's it really, that we still have some interesting games to play in the run in is excellent, it's what we go for really.
  17. Fair do's if that's what you're taking from my post. I actually respect Falkirk for reaching the semi final, undeniably a huge achievement although it does seem like a massive distraction at the moment, not something you can afford when I assume your no 1 priority is still getting out of L1.
  18. Hope, not not in the slightest. Enjoy your night.
  19. Thankfully and amusingly that rarely happens, the last few months purple patch aside. Still, the SF and all that.
  20. This I turned to my brother in law and said "I have no clue who that even is" Bizarre, he got to feel righteous for 4 minutes then we were back in front. Pleasing. What a goon.
