The weird kid from school
Ebanda's Handyman Services replied to ICTChris's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
Forgot about Wullie who once brought his mum's dildo into school. This thing had wee eyes on the helmet and he'd take it out of his school bag and wave it around when the teacher was writing on the board. Wullie would also bring in one of those massive universal remote controls to change the channel when we were watching educational programmes on the TV. -

Couldn't make it last night due to work but having watched the highlights I don't see how anyone manages to implicate Watson in the calamity that resulted in Peterhead's goal. Nando just had to play it back to Watson and up the line it would have gone. I'm desperate for the big felly to do well but the blame lies solely with him last night. -
He IS? I'm sure Charlie Telfer will disagree, as will Tidser and Sammon also at Falkirk, and McAllister at Peterhead, McStay and Goodwillie at Clyde... I'm not saying Hendry isn't good but that's some bold claim right there. Having seen most of them play at some point, I'd back the Hendry claim up against those examples. The boy is fucking tremendous.

I'm quite fortunate in the case that I do early shifts and back shifts alternately. On backs I cycle 10 miles a day Mon-Fri on the static bike and do a wee bit of weights to tide me over. Earlies is just lifting as heavy as I can go three or four times a week. -

I wouldn’t know how to fix that. Try narrow bicep curls to further strengthen your forearms perhaps? -

That might not be so odd. When I worked at Sky in Dunfermline, Noel Edmonds doppelganger worked there too. This wee guy looked so much like Edmonds that I needed convincing that it wasn't him rather than that it was. The weirdest boy I can think of at school was a guy named Paul. I'll leave his surname out in case he's a member but he used to chase everyone around the playground trying to jab a pencil into them. Karma bit his arse when one of the school loonies took it upon himself to stab him with a screwdriver. -

The boy I train with has done 185kg. I tried 160kg but failed about an inch off the ground. -

I got back on the cardio today after my holidays with a 10 mile non-stop cycle. I'd been blootering these no problem but the sweat was lashing out of me today. I've also started pushing the weight up with the dead-lifts and squats. 150kg being my best dead-lift (one rep!) so far and 100kg my best squat. I'm in better nick at 40 than I was at 20. -

I think we're nearing the 900 mark now. Confident we'll hit the 1k target. -
From the three games I've seen so far, we're definitely better balanced. We now have a midfield that will control games and a big CB who will get in the way of most crosses into the box; two of our failure points last season hopefully remedied. Get our strikers banging them in and I honestly reckon we'll be there or thereabouts.
