I scored a hattrick against my own team after being loaned to a team who had only ten men because I hadn't been going to training. That was U-16 but I guess the point I'm making is that once you are on the pitch instinct kicks in and the natural determination to win rules over everything. I reckon that'd be the exact same with Craigen but the situation to play him or not is the very epitome of the word 'dilemma'!

For anyone interested... The 200 Club is having it's annual quiz night on Friday 11th of March. We have space for ten teams of four at the usual £10 per team and these will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. There will be food provided and raffle prizes to be won, not forgetting the usual hilarity that surrounds these nights! Submit your team by private messaging myself or come see us at the club.

Two very worthy candidates.Think that'll be a close run election. IF Gordon wins and isn't allowed to continue as match do announcer can I put my name forward for that gig? "Welcome to Stark's Park. I've electrocuted all the seats and the first person to boo about something ridiculous is getting their arse fried." "Let's get right behind the Rovers!"

The second game at home to St Mirren that season was brilliant. St Mirren supporters had a whistle and were doing the old "*peep *peep Buddies army!" until big Brew skelped in a screamer. Delirium from our support, glorious silence from theirs. Pretty sure Tam Carson saved a penalty in that game too though may be mistaken.

I think a lot of our supporters are quick to get on the team's back because they were used to a wee bit of success a good while ago and think that should be the norm rather than a very rare exception. This rubs off on the younger ones unfortunately and they tend to follow suit. The sooner the majority of our supporters become realistic about the Rovers being a mid-table Championship side with the occasional tilt at the league title or a wee cup run now and again, the better.

The 4G has been touted but there are overheads outwith the club's budget to regard. The pitch installation would be around 500k and then you have the maintenance every 5 years (I'm sure) which costs around 100k. With both Balwearie and KHS having good facilities there's no guarantee that folk would use Stark's Park through the week as well. Might happen some time. Cannae see it being any time soon though.
