Are wing backs that easy to find? Most teams play 4 at the back in Scotland so I'd suspect finding wing backs won't be easy I think you're right which is why I said it would be easier said than done. He did, however, have a perfectly good wing back on the books last season and could easily have kept him if he'd said he was going to play him.

Yep, we should have been looking for right & left wing backs that could ideally play as proper full backs too. We'd then have Doyle and Dixon available to cover Durnan, Toshney & Buchanan in the middle. Easier said than done of course to get the quality he would want v those available. IMO we should be playing a 3-5-2 in this league anyway, especially at home. We need width. Very, very good chance that we'd have scored on Saturday if it was wee Tommy delivering those crosses rather than Dixon.

I'm assuming this is Louis Longridge? I don't do twitter or any of that shite and there's nothing on the OS yet. I'm certainly not complaining by any means as I thought we should have tried to keep him when he left. On his day he's a very good player and should unlock a few defences in L1, however he's very similar to Telfer and Connolly so I'd have preferred if we'd used the money to try to get a wing back or 2 in. Almost certain that DKD won't be returning now either I'd assume.

We need a RWB, LWB and a DKD then we're sorted!

A good question and, who knows, this may still come to pass? £400k of course is well below the 'seven figure' sum that MC says he'll invest in the club once he's got it and, after saying that they would dilute their holding to allow investment of the full £800k, the MSG would be seen in a very bad light if they then took half of the cash to walk away.
