Are you including add-on's then because Kingsley, Fulton & Arfield would certainly have been more than £400k each when taking them into account IMO. I think I'm right in saying that Arfield's initial fee was equal to our previous highest which was £375k for Yogi and I'm sure that the McGrandles figure was higher than that.

You seem to be in the know (or are you just the latest incarnation of Edibairn)? so maybe you could give us a break down of the monies received from the academy sales and how you've worked out that we would get £2m from an £8m sale?

Hopefully that'll happen but it's very much the exception to the rule don't you think? When you add up transfer fees and add-on's, he would have to be sold for about £20m (assuming that we've got a 20% sell on deal) for us to receive more than the total academy sales and I don't think Rotherham will get anywhere near that much.

Hopefully Paton can't make it and that will force his hand but he needs to include players who can make things happen so DKD, McShane and Robson need to start with Waddington and Petra (if fit) ready to come on if need be. Possibly worth starting Lavery too to see if that would make any difference. Apparently McGhee is also struggling so we could see Kidd and Brough coming in from the cold?

I'd have played Waddington instead of Paton but, as he's always breathing out of his arse after an hour, I'd rather keep him to come on in the 2nd half.

I am not sure how much a risk it is really. I think 3 CHs suits McKenna and Dixon. Not sure about Edge but the other two I think would look better in a 3. Plus it would accommodate McShane who surely needs to play to provide some creativity in the middle.

I think Dixon is a better left back than Robson (although he was feckin brutal on Saturday) however, we need to win games so IMO I think we should be going with 5 across the middle. TR is our best option wide left in that formation. Morton don't score many goals and will probably sit in so I think we could risk a back 3 on Saturday.
