  1. Without our loaned players we wouldn't be able to fill the bench.
  2. He wasn't the best footballer, but he was a prolific goal-scorer. In fact his 'worst' scoring performance was with us, scoring 37 times in 95 games.
  3. Aye, I remember that there was talk of fisticuffs between Tiger and Ferguson. I would have backed the wee man TBH!
  4. I think he'll be on the stand side because the Falkirk fans might boos and hiss at him a bit!
  5. I'm sure that wee Tiger refused to play in the LC semi final against Partick in 1971 because he'd fallen out with Ferguson, who was in the team.
  6. You're thinking of Jim Fowler because Colin Fowler didn't arrive until the late 70's/early 80's. I think that Jim signed after Cunningham and Fergie had left too, although he was a great prospect. He left Falkirk when George Miller wouldn't let him sign for Dundee Utd and returned to amateur football. A real waste of talent!
  7. As he was out of contract in the summer, other clubs were able to talk to him and possibly sign him on a pre-contract. I'm sure they're will have been clubs sniffing around but he obviously didn't commit to any of them. I can't see why another club, who had the option to sign him for nothing, would now want to pay a substantial fee for him. It may be the case that a club who has not shown any interest so far might want to explore the possibility of signing him, particularly if he maintains his scoring rate, but I think it unlikely.
  8. I think sub appearances count? Sorry, didn't realise that the total included sub appearances, so they will indeed be short. I'm sure that would be made up by the end of the season though.
  9. I agree. Very difficult to choose between Coll and Callumn. Oh, and Miller and Lang and McCann and Spencer and...
  10. Where's the best place to park when it's really busy?
  11. My apologies. I think the way you structured your sentence deceived me.
  12. Hamilton, Cove and QotS are full time mate.
  13. I have it from a very reliable source that Nesbitt was indeed offered a one year deal with an option, which he refused, but didn't want to say as I'd been drinking sherry.
  14. Most teams tend to sit in against us and try to be difficult to break down. I was surprised therefore to see you set up with such a high line and shocked that you continued it throughout given that Morrison and Miller were consistently given half of the field to run in to. The scoreline could have been so much more when you consider the number of chances that tactic gave us.
  15. I think the squad's likely to be a bit bigger next year therefore I believe that McGlynn may well still be looking to add someone to challenge Nesbitt. I would imagine that Oliver's ability to cover different positions was uppermost in McGlynn's mind when the extension was offered.
  16. The guy is most definitely better than L1 standard. Absolutely no doubt!
  17. Two platforms, bridge, waiting room, shelter, car park, road, paths, toilets, ticket machine...
  18. Aye we should go for it. Probably only cost a few million?
  19. You're right, he is a flair player but he can have a big influence in games when he's in the mood. It would have made sense to keep him for the Hamilton game because he would definitely have been in the mood for that one!
  20. I think he thought he had less time than he had. He could actually have let it drop to the ground to tap it in.
