    Exactly this. For stuff like the paranoia/conspiracy/referee strike stuff Celtic would piss you at the time, but then they slipped under the radar a bit during the Rangers meltdown etc . It fluctuates. I guess alot of it comes down to who you've played more recently as well.

    This is very true. Being out of the bubble, Baraclough's 'ignorance' of the OF mentality definitely helped here. As you say if McCall or McGhee had been in charge, everything from the press conferences to the team selection and tactics would have been full of shitebaggery and deference. Baraclough ultimately didn't work out long term term, but I'll remember him fondly - By hook or by crook he kept us up while facing what was the worst possible scenario.

    Remember going to Ibrox that night hoping to limit things to a 1-0 defeat to at least have a hope in the home leg. Was nigh-on a miracle to get through that over 2 legs, particularly given our previous at Ibrox. Absolute scenes though Thought I had put my hip out at Ibrox - Flying over rows of seats, limbs everywhere for the goals. For me the tie was over when Zaliukas blazed one over from 6 yards just before half-time at Fir Park.

    May cause "Social unrest" though. The authorities have already demonstrated that they rule according to fear, rather than ethics.

    Before you even get to that, its a competition and you're bound by conditions of entry. Its not restriction of trade as UEFA dont prohibit clubs trading, only participating in their competitions. That's how the Transfer window works - You can employ any employee at any time, just cant register them to play.

    The more I think about it, Foreign Refs would be a good idea. When the Foriegn Refs come in and decisions are equally as contentious, we can all just laugh at the halcyon days of the orange/timmy refereeing conspiracies and agree to go back to our own shite domestic refs.

    Encouraging results, only thing of concern is the significantly increased costs (+£1.35m ) although a lot of these appear to be one-off items(roof, scoreboard etc) or enforced by Project Brave criteria

    Exactly , it's not their HoF. Individual members may have an opinion, but there's not been any sort of official stance that I'm aware of - Why would there be, it's a third party Personally not fussed either way. He had a few iconic moments I guess.
