Was thinking earlier that Edge's return overall has been a bit shit.

Felt like they've not used him well for the most part (a handful of matches aside).

Now that he's talking about retirement, his return has been a bit of a waste.

They seemed to be building towards him winning the belt he never lost, a title win, run then retirement would have been great. Again WWE ignoring the fact that the obvious and predictable option isn't always the worst

He isn't even in the final for the new belt!

I learned earlier that Solo Sikoa's real name is in honour of his cousin who was about to main event Mania a couple of weeks after he was born.

His legit name is Joseph Yokozuna Fatu.

Big Yoko was a good c**t from everything I've read about him.   Was baffled when I first learned he wasn't actually a Sumo wrestler from Japan mind you.   Good old Mr Fugi too and that camera guy at King of the Ring that got Hogan to f**k.

Whilst Yokozuna wasn't actually a sumo wrestler (or Japanese; his real name was Rodney!), Earthquake legitimately was (a sumo wrestler that is; he too wasn't Japanese, he was Canadian).

He also was curtailed in sumo and had a definite glass ceiling by virtue of his tattoos which in 80s Japan, was a taboo as they were linked so heavily to Yakuza.

Earthquake was an absolute athlete of a man, even in the late 80s when he debuted. There's not many lads of his size who could zip around the way he did.

There's Superstar Billy Graham away at 79.

Guy was a definite pioneer for what wrestling would become in the 80s and 90s and doesn't get nearly as much credit as he's due for evolving the showy side of the business. The fact that Hogan more or less lifted his gimmick and made it the biggest thing wrestling had ever seen until that point says a lot.

Apparently the Iron Sheik has died. Sad one. Loved that mad b*****d.

Just saw it on Twitter and I audibly went 'Aww for fucks sake'.

That's a sore one. I genuinely thought the mad b*****d would be about til 100

His you shoot interviews are brilliant. Green medicine etc. Longest line snorted, and the one when the interviewer shows him doing a camel clutch with a hard on. Check them out
