djchapsticks
https://www.instagram.com/p/CJSX4wzpYy8/ A rough read at the time but in context, absolutely awful.
TheGoon
Watched the Elimination Chamber 6 Man. Still brilliant, Wyatt is terrific in it. Also this is really nice https://x.com/wrestleops/status/1695188224862257640?s=46&t=JT54DJnPTaYdIkQEsIGjVQ

djchapsticks
Think the best way I've seen his character and creative process described is that not every gimmick, creative idea or match worked. However, folk still always wanted more as they knew that no matter what, be the idea amazing, shite or anything in between, he always swung for the fences and never played it safe or phoned it in.
8MileBU
That “passing the torch” moment between ‘Taker and Wyatt is incredibly poignant now. All faces of Wyatt are easily the best gimmicks since ‘Taker. My favourite thing about that moment - Wyatt’s face when ‘Taker whispers something to him, the Bray Wyatt character just ceases to be and what you just see the real life humble, respectful Windham Rotunda caught in a moment of almost childlike awe and respect for a true legend.
DA Baracus
Rev Pro was pretty good tonight. Enjoyable venue and card. Ospreay was mad over and the Jericho run in at the end was mental. I also hope Michael Oku gets more prominent bookings, that guy could be a megastar.

Think the question will always hang there though about what a proper, twisted heel Cena would have been like and could have done for WWE but with hindsight and everything that came to light about his Make-a-wish work (not least the extent and frquency of which he went to in order to grant them for kids, sometimes making 4 hour each way detours between shows to give kids 2 or 3 hours of his time rather than going to next city and getting a bit of relaxation time for himself), then you can fully understand why WWE simply couldn't do it.
FairWeatherFan
It's a bit of a tangent, but I really hate the way some of the people in the business talk about ppv buys. For years TNA got hit with the stick of only doing 30k-40k buys, but that was traditional PPV providers domestic to the US. It was an era before internet/streaming PPVs became established and most international markets (like the UK) the shows were sold to their TV partner. It's great that AEW are doing around 140k and sometimes higher. That's being cobbled together from FITE and multiple providers around the world. When the likes of Meltzer compares what AEW do to WCW and ECW it's incredibly disingenuous. All that said. The first WM I remember having to buy as a PPV was either WM20 or WM21. WM17 would have been in the top 5 buys if the UK and other markets weren't getting it for free. Cena ain't that great

Cardinal Richelieu
Surely PPV buys measures the hype surrounding a match more than the quality of the match itself?
GNU_Linux
Kevin Kelly winding up his commitments with NJPW with dates between now & New Years Dash before going full time with AEW. Plan for NJPW in the interim seems to be Chris Charlton & whatever English speaking wrestler is available at the time.

Kevin Kelly had a bit of a poor start with AEW but he's turned into the best commentator in the business otherwise IMO. He should have succeeded JR instead of Michael Cole IMO.
