It was, aye, but any agreement to pay x amount to Dorado may have formed part of any subsequent deal to buy the club? Regardless of whether it's down to Nixon grassing us up or not, it appears our house isn't in order (when has it ever been). If it's not, then I'd expect the authorites to act. Well as the article states, there's no accusations that we are failing to pay players now so I wouldn't say that's the case. The Rankine issue is ridiculous as well, given there's been no clear benefit to us from him having interests in Dumbarton and East Fife. It may be that repayment over the Dorado saga was miscommunicated following the takeover but given the fact he's been back at the club since, I'd think that's unlikely. Looks to me like its more to do with the ex chairman suing the club they are airing the dirty washing when he was in charge to discredit himi However the current livi board have played a sneaky one, probably expecting a signing embargo they didnt announce this until they have already got this years squad signed up so it wont really affect them just now!
