Tormod Macleod
Ronaldinho or Henry for me. Wayne Rooney? What has he done other than in the European Championships?
The Minertaur
Wayne Rooney? What has he done other than in the European Championships? Nowt. Except the hat-trick last week.
David W
It should be Frank Lampard. He was excellent in the Premiership, Euro 2004 and the Champions League last season. None of the other Europeans did better. Only Adriano, Kaka, Ayala or Ronaldinho can have a claim other than him. I'd much rather see Fake Ronaldo win it than Rooney, he has done far more in the last year.
Guest BCityfan
Frank Lampard for me, works his socks off and played consistantly throughout the 70 odd games he played last season...
bluetooner
Lampard is a great player, but isnt the headline maker that will win it..... which why rooney and asshole may be in top 3.

SimonLichtie
If that fat, Shrek lookalike p***k Rooney gets anywhere near the top 3 it would be a complete joke! He's done bugger all apart from score a few goals in the Euro's and a hat trick on his debut. Others like Lampard etc work there arses off and should get credit for it. FRENCHIE
They need to put in a few englishmen just to keep the superpowers of club football happy. How the fu ck did Beckham get on that list??
Lex
I don't think Beckhams there on footballing performance to be honest, jus to help the image of the whole carry on. Hard to say who'll win, 1 player out of the european champions . I'd go for Ronaldinho personally, then henry n shevchenko..
