Guest The Phoenix
Expensive then, i took her to Vallee Blanche for our first date, which was fairly pricey £90 for the two of us, but it was worth it. As i said price doesn't mean that much, as my i've just been paid, and i get my student money in, over the next few weeks, it's mostly the quality of food that i want to know. I'm probably not the best judge of "expensive" - My specialist subject is orange price cut labels at The Co-op.
gc_smfc
Another option may be Brutti Ma Buoni in the merchant city, but that would only be if the weathers any good.

Cowden til i die
Ive heard really good things about Toni Macaroni's on Byers Road. Anyways, can you take a dictionary into a standard university exam?

I know at Glasgow you can't unless you have special permission, mainly people who get scribes or extra time. But I'm allowed to take a Atlas for my geography course, that wont help but I wanted to add it.

ShakehandsTom - DFC
For someone wanting to lose a wee bit of weight, tone up, and get fitter, would having 17 slices of bread in one day be deemed excessive?
Gaz
For someone wanting to lose a wee bit of weight, tone up, and get fitter, would having 17 slices of bread in one day be deemed excessive? Very much so. From a straight calorie perspective, that's about 1600 calories just from bread alone. Plus, they're full of carbohydrates - and it's those which turn into sugar, which the body produces insulin to deal with, which turns into fat.

That wouldn't have been good from a diet perspective... Is this someone a duck? I'm not sure. I don't think so. It's my mate who's wondering. Not me. I'm definitely NOT wondering.

Is there even 17 slices in one loaf? I'd have thought that was a two loaf job. You disgust me.

He just needs to buy one of them loaves you cut yourself. I do that and only have four slices a day. They are the thickest slices known to man but you feel less of a fat b*****d if you admit to people how many you eat per day.

I like your idea, at least you are being honest.
Gaz
I can't talk. I can regularly munch through a whole baguette with cheese and ham Yes, a WHOLE baguette. Sometimes I will even buy the two half-length half-cooked ones from Tesco and cook both of them
