Gaz
How straightforward is it to install a new washing machine? Is it just a case of: Unplug old washing machine Disconnect hot / cold hoses from old washing machine Remove old washing machine Move new washing machine in Connect hot / cold hoses to new washing machine Plug in new washing machine ? And does it make any difference if it's a washer / dryer?

It'll show you clearly on the instructions..

May seem obvious - but make sure you have turned valves to 'off' before removing the pipes from the old machine. Also make sure you install the u shaped piece of plastic over the waste pipe - this prevents backflow into the machine.
