grumswall
Glad about that. Don't feel we needed him and he would have strengthened Ayrs defence.

Hopefully Craig Easton put in a good word for him.
ebobsboy
You can have 2 for the price of 1 in Craigen and Alex Harris. Just take them please.

I'd be delighted if Craigen came back. Another player who seemed to get berated by some sections of our fans, but was a huge miss the following season.

Absolute lunacy to sell our captain and main midfielder, secure a loan deal to compensate yet allow a recall option. It sounds like some will be loaned back this month but what's for certain is we're in trouble for Saturday now with him away and Barr injured. We basically have zero wide players now. Zanatta wasn't great but was coming onto a game and provided the wide out ball that we had been seriously lacking in the few months beforehand. Standard 'let's have a dig at the board at any opportunity' post. As Matthew Elder tweeted yesterday, players on a development loan can be recalled by the parent club during a transfer window, this is an SPFL rule, so clearly not the club's fault.
Deadly
A mate of mine supports Stirling Albion and they have had the exact same thing happen. A young wide player on loan from hearts had been recalled for some winter sun. Timing horrendous. I don't think Zanatta is brilliant (gradually improving and turning into an important player) but as he's the only fit natural wide player it's a big blow. The board have made a few boo boos in their time but this isn't their fault.

It’s a shame as he was starting to find some good form.
pub car king
I think in fairness the club knew f**k all about this recall he was getting used in the publicity for the ayr match. However it is complete shitbaggery from hearts.
bobbykdy
It is more than likely there was a two way January break clause in the loan meaning that Hearts could recall him or we have the option to terminate the loan if it wasn't working out. If this is the case we are as much to blame as Hearts.

So as much as folk want to use this as something to have a go at the board for, it isn't of their doing! Aye, you guys won it a wee while ago, right enough. Did you get any photos that day? Was that the year before you enlisted for the Second World War? However, you have won the Fife Cup since then...haven't you?? Edited January 12, 2018 by Wee Sandy
