Lots of positives but the downfall of seeing the ingredients is the knowledge that that half cooked packet rice stuff is used.

Fennel is a vastly underrated and underused salad veg. The cooked version however has no business even being a thing.

Na that was wur starter. Fennel was raw. 

Main was beef cheek with jus, celeriac puree and Crisps, pickled asparagus, haggis and barley crumb and pavé potatoes. It was fucking magnificent

Do you mean the hob or the oven?

Gas ovens are shit always go fan electric.

The best hob is induction but can be pricey to buy plus a load of new magnetic pans. I was sceptical of electric but since moving house have got used to them.

I disagree with you on hobs. I’ve got an induction hob, would much rather have a gas hob like I did in a previous house. I just find it’s easier to control the heat on a gas hob.

 Agree on fan electric ovens, though.
