WILLIEA
None here but when I left the house an hour or so ago could see the hills on the other side of the river are covered. Bloody cold too.

flyingscot
First bit of snow in EK this year. Was heavy for all of 10 minutes but was too warm and ground was too wet to lie on streets.

archie guevara
Snow in Edinburgh lasted 15 minutes and wiped £3m off productivity figures as everyone looked out the window at the big floaty flakes.
ICTJohnboy
Snow in Scotland in January? This wouldn't happen in an independent Scotland.
The Naitch
Been snowing in Glasgow for the last half hour now, and it's sticking around too.
Smurph
Yup. It's been forecast to rain, though, so hopefully it washes away.
Jacksgranda
Snow in Scotland in January? This wouldn't happen in an independent Scotland. That would probably herald a new ice age - either that or a sub-saharan climate. Uncertain times ahead!

CityDave
Just started snowing here in Inverness. Getting heavy and starting to cover the roofs of the houses and the lawn. Decent site to watch the precipitation on radar. Will it Rain Today? Checked the traffic cams and anywhere north of Inverness has had a covering of snow, also checked east and the area around Inverurie has also had some of the white stuff, Aberdeen next. CityDave
This is not a little bit of snow, this is winter back. 2 inches of snow on the ground and still going, blowing a blizzard, temperatures now in the minuses. Hard to believe it was 22 deg C up here this time last week. To be honest this is great. Edited April 2, 2012 by CityDave
