I don't understand, if he meant someone else then why did I get a warning?

I think he may be referring to the person you were quoting as being a general forum pest so it’s best not to engage/encourage (you’ve not got any warning points).

What did you post and what was your previous username? Without this information there is no way of advising you.

P.S. If I was returning after a banning I wouldn't make a big fuss about a warning.

I haven't ever been on pie and bovril before I created this account hence why I was worried about a warning as I'm not familiar with the rules etc

Were you arguing or conversing with a known alias, thus not helping?

Honestly idk I was talking to the boy who wanted advice about his relationship and I don't know if he is an alias but I doubt it

You can tag users to get their attention more easily. I'll do it for you. @Mr X why is this fine young man feeling like his account is under threat?

Never use online retailer Very. They’re well dodgy and full of utter shit.

I ordered a fridge from them. Paid in full upfront, including a charge to take away my broken one. Delivery was set for Saturday. Saturday morning I got a phone call from the courier company saying they couldn’t deliver it because Very hadn’t sent it to them.

I called Very, who said it was because the fridge wouldn’t be in stock until the 23rd of November! Daft useless c***s. I cancelled it and to be fair have received a fairly quick refund, save for the charge for taking away the old fridge, which they’ve somehow forgotten to refund to me. I’ll be on to them later to get that sorted. Sticking with the replacement/loan fridge my friend gave me, the one that smelled of cats. Should have just stuck with this one until I was a bit more flush anyway. I think I sort of panicked due to the cat smell, but my cleaning efforts seem to have removed that.

Seems I’ve gotten a bit lucky as well, as a Google search reveals that Very are absolute hated by pretty much everyone, with abysmal scores on Trust Pilot and any other site where reviews can be left. Most of them mentioned shite customer service, but the folk I spoke to were quite nice and understanding and got things sorted pretty quick.

Anyway, the good news stops there. The bank have taken a sum which is almost as much as the cost of the fridge from my account to cover a chargeback they did from a payday loan company that was supposedly a mistake. Another phone call beckons!

f**k sake, Very are a shower of c***s.and every time I hear someone mention them these days it's because of a similar thing to what you described. I had to wait something ridiculous like 9 weeks for 3 sets of storage drawers off there because they were mysteriously out of stock after I bought them. This was in 2011!

Their customer service team are reasonable but I'd get the impression that if they actually warehoused properly and sold stock that they actually carried, then there wouldn't be so much of an issue with them.

I just ordered a tv Stand and new TV from very, didn’t have any issues, but they randomly decided to send my new bedside cabinet separately which I couldn’t understand.

Their website still shows it as 'in stock'!

Maybe because they’re coming from different warehouses?

It astounds me that folk on here pay such close attention to what others post and can apparently recall fairly inconsequential conversations, threads, posting styles and the like from years ago.

I was thinking the same. Folk remembering posts I made that I can't even remember making from years ago.
