Went to Lidl today and bought Malcolm Allan's Curry Lorne Sausage.

Tomorrows lunch sorted.

It’s square sausage, and that sounds disgusting. Malcolm should be ashamed.

The real question here is condiments.

Brown sauce, tomato ketchup...or the Heinz Curry Ketchup we have.

Do you have that little faith in Malcolm's abilities that you need more curry flavour on it?

That's a fair point.

I won't sleep tonight worrying about this. Do i go sauce-free? Lather with butter? Go nuts and use mayonnaise or salad cream?

Maybe Scott was right and I should have bought half a dozen packs. Then I could test every eventuality.

That lack of faith would be a prudent decision to avoid predictable disappointment IMO.

I wonder if Simon's curry sausages are the same bright pink, sharp edged, entirely natural looking rectangles his regular efforts are.

Who does the best square sausage?

I don't know about the best square sausage, but I'd always get a square sausage and black pudding roll from the lassie that had the burger van in Elgin Retail Park, which was amazing.

The square was amazing but it had nothing on the black pudding, she had the proper Stornoway shit. Every other black pudding doesn't even come close

Today I learned (probably along with a decent chunk of the forum) that I’ve met someone called Cecil.

Not sure if this is accurate but this map apparently shows the overall fertility rate in the UK, broken down by area.

Why is Scotland’s rate so low? Fewer immigrants? Infrastructure issues? Economic issues? Lack of Scotland team success preventing Euros group qualification baby-boom?
