Yes, after all, it's women who have set the tone of the language of human aesthetics in our society, so that makes perfect sense.

Er, it's a term used to describe women, not often used by women themselves.

I'm thinking of buying a tweed sports jacket. Will this make me a look like a tool?

Thinking about it won't (unless you do already).

Doing it and wearing it will.

Was looking forward to going to bed and reading a nice book but just realised that I have physics homework for tomorrow, and lots of it.

Great. dry.gif

buy a fez instead. fez' are cool.

You just remined me! I have a fez somewhere in my room! I'll dig it out and admire myself in it I think...

Edit: It's too small and half of it is a lighter shade due to being left beside a window for too long.

Right... so why are you blaming women for it?

I'm not 'blaming' anyone, just putting forward a theory for the issue at hand.

Let's expand your point for example, men were traditionally writers and poets and they often wrote about women used complementary language and these poems etc. entered the public conscience. You didn't see poems about how beautiful men were, nor did women write about how beautiful men were. That's presumably why the term stuck. The idea of women writing about how great men are doesn't really exist, even now nothing springs to mind.

Nobody is to blame, it's baffling for you to suggest otherwise.

A pringle is not actually a crisp, but a dough based snack :green

Indeed they are less than 50% potato based and are fried not baked. :(

Just realised on Google Maps that my gran's old house where we used to go on at least a monthly basis is just a few roads away from 'The Scheme'. I thought the bit next door looked a bit scummy but... ohmy.gif
