Widge
3 of my closest friends I've made at work are all leaving this month which is a bit shit. The place has a high turnover of staff but aye I'll miss them I know what you mean, since Christmas we've changed 75% of our staff, who I'd gotten to know well. This Tuesday one of the 3 remaining, leaves as well. So it's me and another guy and a whole bunch of new, incompetent staff. Plus we never work together cause we do different shifts. Gonna miss the ugh leaving though, we've become mates and I even got an invite to his wedding. Not gonna be the same without him.
kev23
Exact same as you guys. There are 3 people at work who I hope are in at the same time as me. They are decent for a laugh and make work bearable. 2 are leaving this week. Devastating news. I am chuffed for them for getting better jobs but they will no doubt get replaced with idiots or an idiot currently in the job will have his hours increased. I am currently looking for a new job as well so hopefully it won't bother me too much

Haha we'll be around the same with the turnover and the incompetent newbies. The 3 at my work have all been there at least a year it'll just be weird without them. Every time you seem to make new pals in there the people seem to leave it's just the way it is in work places with a high turnover. But at the same time I'm happy for them tho as my work is shite.

Still I barely work and will be offski soon enough.
Widge
what's the betting we're all in a similar line of work. Albeit I'm definitely in the part time catagory.

Hedgecutter
I don't know if this been mentioned in the past, but has anybody noticed the picture of the erect cock and balls in the Yes campaign's logo? Similar sort of thing to the secret arrow in the Fedex logo. Eta: I (kind of stupidly) put my mobile phone number on a CV which I uploaded to a specialised careers website last night and I must have had more phone calls today than the Pittodrie ticket office due to head-hunters pouncing on it straight away. Desert Nomad
Just got an HMDX Jam Classic wireless speaker through the post. Brilliant sound for such a wee speaker and great value at £20.

welshbairn
I was trying to fix a washing machine today, and did a Youtube search for guidance which usually works for just about anything technical. All I found was videos of people doing their laundry. In the comments were questions like "How much powder did you use?" or "Did you use fabric softener?". WTF! Do some people have a fetish about soap suds spinning around?

kev23
Everything seems like a better idea at night. Lying in bed last night and got a text from a pal asking if We wanted to go out in Glasgow tonight and we could all just kip at his. Being off on Friday I thought this was a great idea and somehow decided to take the car and pick up the others. Woke up this morning and the thought of having to drive to and from Glasgow has put me right off but I really can't say no now so I'll have to do it. Am such an erse

Hedgecutter
It's official, my job role is high up the short-list of those to be made redundant by my company.
throbber
Feeling pretty under the weather today - slept in an uncomfortable position and my neck is in agony. To make matters worse i started feeling ill at about 10 o clock and had to come home early with the runs and been spewing up as well. I have been spewing in one toilet and shitting in the other one, have a pretty good system going on.
