jamamafegan
I just saw a bloke stumble out of the casino about 15 minutes ago. Are you as jealous as I am? The casino! Ahh I should have gone there for a pint instead of getting the first train. Ahh well. Not a great fan of them as it is though, gamblings not my thing.

KnightswoodBear
I just had a packet of Vice Versas. Shite. Nothing like they used to be. Alternatively, they're still awesome.

I was just jealous because I was waiting on my second bus of the day to get to work.
DA Baracus
After being 4 hours late for work yesterday, today I turned up on time as usual. I did however massively take the piss in what I did. Think I worked for about an hour at the most. If I wasn't feeling so bad today I would actually feel almost ashamed at how little I did, the highlight being a one hour nap after lunch. The ambulance service just doesn't seem to be the job it used to be.

I don't think I could cope with the increase in hours.
CityDave
Rescued a blackbird early this morning as it had one of its legs trapped in the very narrow vertical gap between two boards of a 6 foot garden fence and had slipped down about 30cm in the gap so couldn't free itself and not only that it was being watched intently by a cat from the pavement below. The cat moved of as I approached and I carefully folded the birds wings back to its body and held it gently and then lifted it up very carefully off and over the fence worried it might have broken its leg in struggling to get free. Had a quick check of its leg, all good there and I released it.

Had a quick check of its leg, all good there and I released it. Rescued a bird once from the top of a stairwell, banging against the glass roof. Had a bit of a battle catching it and ripped a few feathers off one wing. Took it back downstairs and released it. Flew around in tight circles for a bit, not sure what happened next..
Lisa Cuddy
I got offered coronary care at the nearest hospital for my final placement. I didn't want it because I wanted something in emergency and I didn't really want to be at the local hospital either because I didn't fancy running into neighbours at work. A guy on my course wanted to swap who just happened to have my dream placement at another hospital. I'm well chuffed.
Albino Rover
There were more non-Scots playing for Celtic tonight than there are non-Scots in the squads of the ten clubs in League Two combined.

welshbairn
Forgive my nosiness but what is your dream placement? Mine would be homeopathy, no worries if you give the wrong dose, or the wrong drug, or just forget to do anything.
rustyarabnuts
Just found out the post in the Renal ward(where I'm on placement) has been re advertised, application fired off again, hopefully I get another interview! The strange thing was, my charge nurse, the one who interviewed me for my previous application, in which I didn't do too well in the interview, pulled me aside at work yesterday and was giving me a little advice about interview techniques
Lisa Cuddy
Forgive my nosiness but what is your dream placement? You are forgiven. Anything in emergency care. I'm swapping to a medical assessment unit. We'll take patients that come from A&E or emergency admissions from GPs that are too sick/unstable for medical wards but not traumatic enough for A&E.
