Sergeant Wilson
I have a wasps nest right above the bedroom window. Noticed it about a couple of months ago when there were just a few entering a gap between the slates and the guttering. They don't bother me, I have had the side window open often and they don't come in so we are at peace so far and I sit watching them while I'm using the laptop at my desk. There is a second nest around the other side of the house under the dormer window there seems to be more wasps at this one and I have encountered wasps in the attic probably from that nest as I think there is a hole in the wall they can get through. I quiet like watching them come and go bringing food for the grubs, houseflies and small caterpillars so they do some good and there is a point to them. They are now starting to run out of food as most of the grubs have already turned into wasps and because of this there is less sugary stuff the for the grubs to reward the workers with. So with more wasps and less grubs they are starting to look elsewhere for food so unfortunately I have to shut my window now as I've noticed a change in their behavior. I wonder if there are queen wasps ready to leave the nest, once they have departed, the rest of the wasps are done for as the old queen will chase them off and they will begin to starve, becoming a nuisance to people eating and drinking outdoors, ....cue folks giving it lots of the jungle boogie and much flapping. I'll have to try and find both nests this winter and get rid of them, unfortunately it has to be done. Despite so it seems a couple of hundred wasps above my window the nest is probably only the size of a golf ball, I think the one around the other side of the house is bigger. Get a fucking job!

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
I saw these on the shelf, I saluted and walked away, I just knew they were better than me. BFTD
Someone on Coronation street just blurted out "I had a nightmare once, i was stuck in a lift with Nicola Sturgeon " That's fucking dreadful. You watch Coronation Street?
Deeboy
If you watch Corrie then you should be outside, yes. Preferably under a bus.
BFTD
My mrs had it on, she doesn't watch it either but wanted to see paddy mguiness then some guy blurted that out, it was madness on surprised no one else on here has mentioned it ! Only Miley watches it, and I assume it's with the sound off and the curtains closed. (I'm presuming it's like Hollyoaks now since most of the auld yins have died off)
BFTD
In my defence last night, I was stuck in a Premier Inn and had nothing better to watch whilst doing a bit of work on the laptop. Any other time I will happily admit if Mrs Mile has Corrie on I will watch it. As long as Maria, Michelle, Carla and the soon to return Eva are part of the cast, I will be an avid viewer. You needed the laptop and Corrie totty? You can buy Viagra over the counter these days, you know. ...I am reliably informed

BFTD
If you haven't already, prepare to meet the Mummy Mafia, chaps. Conversations tend to suddenly stop and icy glares are thrown around whenever a male dares to intrude on the sacred bonding ground between mother and child. Genuinely used to expect one of them to yell "Pervert!" when I picked my son up from school. Probably just Vietnam-style flashbacks, however

Widge
Just got home and couldn't be arsed with cooking from scratch, so I decided to make stuff from what was in my fridge/freezer. On the menu tonight is a breaded chicken, pesto and hard Italian cheese burger in a lightly toasted brioche bun and microwave skinny fries. Surprisingly pleased that I've got good in the house let alone that it should be tasty.
