I'll bet no one ever on here thought that they would ever read someone posting ''I wouldn't mind a cold refreshing glass of grapefruit juice if I could find someplace that stocks it nowadays?'' But here I am.

Is there a thread for stuff you don't see anymore?

Oddly, my mum was talking to me at the weekend about grapefruit juice. She got some at Sainsburys.

I get mine at Morrisons. Prefer the pink but traditional also available.

Most supermarkets have the Tropicana stuff. Top it up with some pineapple juice and Hey Presto! It’s flat Lilt.

I don't mind Star Wars. Not at all. Some of the movies are excellent, and I have watched some of the shows. A lot of it is enjoyable.

Another birthday passed, and what do I get? Truck loads of Star Wars stuff. Mugs, socks, pint glasses, every single card.

I mean, it's no real secret what I am a fan of. I'm very much a Star Trek guy. I think my relatives just see the "Star" and then go, that'll do.

Maybe the 1980s shop was shut.

This is from the BBC website about the ‘crumbly’ schools in England.

Some more comments now from Prof Chris Goodier, concrete expert at Loughborough University, who spoke to BBC Breakfast earlier.

Nice to see there are real concrete experts out there.

And now Dundee Uni saying their shoddy concrete work is going to cost millions to repair.

I wonder who in Dundee works on concrete, and may be to blame for all this?

Good job there’s ALWAYS funding for estates but never funding for staff.

I found this bit of the report interesting.

RAAC is a cheap version of concrete that was used mostly in construction between the 1950s and 1990s.

The Health and Safety Executive said RAAC was now beyond its lifespan and may "collapse with little or no notice".

That suggests that it has been known for some time that this was an issue that would need to be addressed.

You should see the big shiny building opposite my office. It's beautiful.

Meantime, we have a staff:student ratio around 1:70 this year.
